Eddie is struggling being alone with Chris gone feeling the hole that's been left in his life. Buck ever the constant companion, tries to keep his spirits up even as hes still trying to move on from Tommy. A night alone with a gifted sex toy from Buck, has Eddie questioning some things and maybe discovering some things too. Is he attracted to Buck? What does it mean if he is?

Eddie kisses his first guy in a gay bar. Eddie decides to not come out. Buck throws a costume karaoke party. Eddie gets jealous.
and finally it all comes to a boiling point at Buck's loft when Tommy shows up at a particularly bad time.

Buck is still trying to get over Tommy and decides to try one of the things they had never gotten around to, namely Tommy fucking him. Buck visits a sex shop, has a very unexpected and unfortunate accident and there's only one person in the world he trusts to come help him. Also thank god there was a warranty!

Buck’s fingers sink into the dough, squeezing so hard his fingers go paper white at the knuckles. “No, no! Just—I forgot I need to get the bread ready so I can bake it in time for dinner. It’s sourdough. Wouldn’t want that starter to go to waste after I spent months getting it ready when you said you wanted some homemade.”
Eddie raises an eyebrow, getting up from his chair and stiffly walking up to Buck. “Buck, is this because I mentioned Sam?”
