Summary
Jason has figured out that there are two groups of people: the "Heys" who keep him in a bathtub with too little water and subject him to unimaginable pain every time they pry scales from his body and the "Assholes" who buy the scales.
So when he's taken from the Heys by some Asshole, he's not stupid enough to assume his situation will actually improve at all. All humans, after all, are terrible--especially Assholes who wear demon skin and don't quite grasp how lost Jason really is.
(In which Jason misunderstands pretty much everything about humans and Bruce is an asshole...in the nicest way possible.)

Summary
Tim is many things at many times. He is a detective. He is a photographer. He is a vigilante. He is a Drake, not a Wayne, even though he might wish differently. But underneath all of that, Tim is a metahuman with the ability to heal himself, even from some of the people who’ve hurt him the worst…
Including his own parents.

Summary
“I want to see him,” Andrew decides.
“They won’t let you,” Wymack tells him.
Andrew grits out, “They don’t get to decide that.”
Wymack’s eyes never stop searching him. “They do.”
Andrew can’t look at anything. He sounds awfully, condemningly and absolutely indifferent. “They don’t get to decide he’s dead.”
“They did,” Wymack says.
A hospital has never been so fucking quiet.
Or Neil dies in Baltimore but doesn’t quite leave. This a look into the complexity of Andrew’s trauma, grief, and psychosis that manifests itself as the undying ghost of Neil Josten. Reality and sanity are fragile concepts that Andrew isn’t too concerned about anymore; not if it means never letting Neil go, again and again and again. He made a promise, after all.

Summary
Tim had always been mature for his age, which was really just another way of saying independent. Which was really just another way of saying stubborn.
And he’d believed it too, that he was mature enough to handle himself alone. Believed he knew what he was doing, before he’d done
the last thing he’d ever done as the real Tim Drakethe stupid thing he’d done. No one ever said he wasn’t practiced at self delusion.Series

Summary
Tim didn’t remember anything else about who he had been, originally, but he knew his name, at least.
And that he’d probably been human, once.
He wasn’t sure if he was anymore—the thought first occurring to him (slowly, then all at once, like a tide rushing in, worrying at his edges like a hungry rat) when he was Alvin, turning the pages of Tolkien in one of the cozy chairs in the back corner of the public library—or how long it had been since he had been one. How long did it take to change? Like Sméagol into Gollum; a person into something else.
