It was really quite remarkable how similar they were.
Hiding their fear through anger and aggression, they both bared their teeth at him if he came too close. They would hide away from Sephiroth’s view and reach, swiping at him when he approached. When taken by surprise, they would make an adorable yelp of surprise before their claws came out in their panic.
That was probably why Sephiroth liked the cat.

Nope, nope, nope. Isekai isn't supposed to exist! Yet, here I was, stuck in the middle of an impossible situation as one of the worst characters in Final Fantasy VII: Scarlet.
I found myself several years before the beginning of the franchise where the War on Wutai is just a "tension" and the SOLDIER program was still in the early Project 0 phases. I need to find a way home fast... but if I'm stuck here in the meantime, maybe I could clean up some of the mess Scarlet and Shinra started before the start of the story?

A sound theory. Brilliant, even. Except now, back on said surface with Cloud begrudgingly tagging along at his heels, Sephiroth isn’t so sure. Between not knowing the year, Jenova seemingly nowhere to be found, and his powers flitting in and out of control, Sephiroth is at a loss. And worse, Cloud is…strangely likeable?
AKA, the really REALLY slow-paced redemption fic no one asked for where Sephiroth and Cloud road trip across Gaia before eventually settling down to play house in Midgar.
