Chapter Text
It’s just another sunny afternoon at Cups n’ Paints. It’s a little cafe that has a few regulars that come in every so often, all but one. A woman that is a little under average height and her right eye is always bandaged up and her hair is white with a rainbow stripe in her hair, and she always comes to this cafe every day at the same time. The woman always seems to have this weird aura around her like there’s something more semester is happening behind the scenes.
The only barista who always has her light brown hair up in a messy bun, and she always wonders why she always comes to the cafe and just sits there doing nothing for hours, “I want to be her friend…” She sighs and just gets back to making other people coffee and teas, but yet her mind always wonders back to that mysterious woman. Since she wasn’t paying attention to the other people’s coffee, the coffee overflows and burns her hands. She pulls back in pain and scowls, “God damn it!” She hissed as she ran to the sink and ran her hand under cold water.
Some customers' heads shoot up at the barista’s howl. The mysterious woman is also looking up, yet instead of concern it was a sadistic hunger. She just stares at her reddened hand. The woman started to think about the barista, “I wonder what her skin would taste like… I wonder the way her bones would feel against my teeth…” A shiver goes down her back as a wave of blood lust washed over her.
A couple hours later and it’s the end of the barista’s shift. She starts to hang up her apron and heads to the door, but in the corner of her eye she sees that woman. She turns back around and walks up to her, “Why is she still here? She usually leaves around 3pm. Well I guess it doesn’t hurt to talk to her and tell her that the cafe is closed.” She thought to herself as she stopped in front of the table.
The woman looks up and sees the barista she was fantasizing about eating her. She looks at her name tag, “Painty?” She whispered under her breath. She puts on a fake smile, “Oh hi! You must be Painty? Right? Well I’m Pallet, and I’m an artist. I could show you some of my artwork. If you want?”
The barista, Painty, is surprised at Pallet's niceness, but she is a bit worried about this, “Oh well I would love to… But I don’t really know you. But if we get to know each other then I’ll love to look at your artwork!” She smiles.
Pallet feels angry at that answer, but she quickly recovers, “Oh? Well how about we get to know each other. Let’s meet again at a park tomorrow.”
Painty smiles and nods, “Yeah that sounds great! I’ll meet you there tomorrow at 8 pm. Is that a good time? That’s when I get off tomorrow.”
Pallet nods in agreement. Already planning to drag her away somewhere secluded where no one will hear her screams as she rips into her skin. “Yeah it’s a date then.” She chuckles.
Painty blushes and nods. She looked at the time and saw it was getting really late. “Damn you should have left long ago… umm can you leave now?”
Pallet looks a bit mad. She gets up and leaves.
It’s the next day at 7:50 pm. Painty is waiting at the park for Pallet. She keeps on checking her phone every ten seconds, each time she looks the more nervous she gets.
In the bushes a short woman is stalking people at the park. This time she was lucky to not get caught. She looks at Painty with these big binoculars and takes some notes, “Hmm… Nervous. Sweating… Is she here for a boy!” The woman squeals to herself quietly. Thinking she is about to see people on a date.
Pallet comes up to Painty from the behind and knocks her out with a metal bar she found nearby. The woman in the bushes just stares at this in shock. “Oh… My… God…” The woman frantically flips through her notes, “Not again! This woman got to stop eating people...” She just sits in bushes trying to look for more people to spy on as Pallet drags Painty in the alley.
Painty wakes up after 30 seconds of being knocked out. She sees that she is getting dragged into the alley. In a last ditch effort, she tries screaming for help. Which causes Pallet to cover her mouth.
Pallet starts to get impatient, and just pins Painty to the cold brick wall. She takes a knife out from her pocket, and presses into her left eye. Cutting it out of the socket. Painty yells in pain as the rich crimson liquid leaks out of the now empty socket. Pallet looks at the eye in her hand and just laughs, she looks back up at Painty. But instead of the sadistic feeling of seeing her victims in fear, this time she feels some weird arousal. This weirds her out and just licks the blood dripping down her face, and runs off with her eye in her hand.
Painty falls over onto the ground. Her body shakes with fear and hints of arousal. She is so very confused and dizzy from the bloodloss that she just black’s out.
Painty wakes, after a couple hours later in a hospital bed, with the I.V’s in her arm. She groans to the bright fluorescent lights, turning to her side to get away from the light. She screams when she sees a lady that she doesn’t know is beside her bed.
The lady is older looking and gets a bit startled by Painty’s scream. “Shhh! It’s alright dear! You’re fine now. You’re out of the alleyway.” She says in a calm and motherly voice.
Painty looks at the woman in confusion and irritation. “I’m sorry, but who are you!? And what happened to her?!” Painty is clearly in distress in the situation she is in right now.
The lady gives her a small smile. “I’m Lamp. And I found you bleeding in an alley. Now I don’t know what happened… Do you remember what happened, dear?”
Painty does remember, but yet. Telling what happened would betray Pallet. And for some reason she doesn’t want to betray Pallet. “Uhhh… No… Everything just went black.”
Lamp just gives her a smile. "Well all that matters now is that you're okay." She looks down for a second and her phone rings. She picks it up, and stands up immediately. “Sorry, dear! I have to go!” She rushes out leaving Painty alone.
