"Hey, Pikachu want a Malasada?" Asked Ash as he passed a fourth malasada stand
"Pika!" Said Pikachu in agreement
"Great!" Said Ash walking up to a malasada stand "two malasadas please!"
"Any fillings?" Asked the person behind the stand
"One Pecha Filling and one Sitrus berry filling please!" Said Ash to the vendor
"Right away!" Said The vendor as he reached into the case to grab one of each of the ordered Malasadas "Here you go!"
"Thank you!" Said Ash as he handed the vendor a few poke coins
"Enjoy!" Said the cheerful vendor as ash walked away and the vendor turned to the next person to serve
"Here you go Pikachu!" Said Ash as he handed Pikachu the large pecha filled Malasada
"Pika Pika!" Said Pikachu as he gratefully accepted the fried treat rolled in powdered sugar
"Enjoying it buddy?" Asked ash in between bites of his own Sitrus filled Malasada
"Pi!" Said pikachu as he finished the last bites of his pastry
"Good!" Said Ash "What do you want to do now?"
"Pika ka pi?" Asked Pikachu as he got up from the bench
"We could train, play on the beach, go swimming, or........ work on the 3 page essay on pokemon habitats due in two weeks." Said Ash saying the last part rather quickly
"Pi ka." Said Pikachu sadly
"I know buddy I don't want to do that last one either." Said Ash "Yeah! We can work on it tomorrow after school."
"Pika!" Agreed Pikachu as he jumped up on the bench and then onto ash's shoulder
"Wait, is that you ash?" Asked Kellyn as he walking by the bench where ash and pikachu where standing next to
"Kallyn?" Asked Ash "What are you doing here?"
"Do you remember Riolu?"Asked Kallyn
"Yes?" Said Ash "Did something happen?"
"We don't know the exact events," Said Kallyn, "But some pokemon thief took Riolu during the night and we found out that the meeting spot of the Client and the pokemon thief is here in alola."
"They're meeting tomorrow night somewhere on this island." Said Kallyn as he looked at his watch
"The ranger base sent me here to stop them and retrieve the Riolu." Said Kallyn "I'm going to search the forest for the pokemon theif incase they try to poach any Alolan pokemon in the forest.
"We can help you!" Said Ash cheerfully
"No." Said Kallyn "It's too dangerous."
"I've helped you before!" Said Ash
"And that almost got you killed didn't it?" Said Kallyn
"I'm here aren't I?" Said Ash raising an eyebrow
"Either way ash I'm not letting you help." Said Kallyn looking down at his watch again "Now, I've got to go. Goodbye."
"Well, I guess...... thats that." Said Ash a little disappointedly "I wish we could help, but Kallyn's a ranger, I think he can handle this himself."
"So... You up for swimming?" Asked Ash
"Pika Pika!" Said Pikachu in agreement
"Cool, let me go grab my swim trunks." Said Ash as he turned in the direction of his alola home
Well, Pikachu did you have fun swimming?" Said ash as he walked in the door
"Pika!" Said Pikachu as he shook himself off a little before entering the house on the beach
"Did you guys have a good time?" asked Professor Kukui from the kitchen
"Yep!" Said Ash as he put his towel in the washing machine
"Change into your normal clothes, wash up, and dinner should be done by then!" Said Professor kukui from the kitchen
"'K!" Said ash from the door way as he ran to change clothes and wash up
"Here you go!" Said Professor Kukui as he set a plate of curry in front of ash
"Thanks!" Said Ash as he dug into the food set before him
"Pika!" Said Pikachu as he dug into the bowl of pokechow
"Lycan!" Said Lycanroc as he did the same as pikachu
"Tora!" Said Toracat in the same enthusiasm
"Rowl?" Said Rowlet as it woke up from its day-long nap to eat some pokemon food "Let let!"
"'Bout time you woke up!" Said ash with a grin in between shoveling rather large amounts of Alolan curry into his mouth
"Hey, Ash have you finished your essay yet?" Asked Professor Kukui
"Ummm...." Said Ash
"Piiii ka." Said Pikachu deadpanning
"Ash!" Said Rotom dex "Get up!"
"Wha?" Said Ash "What day is it?"
"It's a school day!!!" Said Rotom dex
"Five more minutes...." Said ash
"Noo!!" Said Rotom dex as he startled ash out of bed
"Aaa!!" Said Ash as he fell out of bed for the second time that week
"Ow." Said Ash as he picked himself up off the ground
Ash changed into his school clothes, ate breakfast, fed pikachu and the rest of his pokemon breakfast, and then grabbed his lunch and backpack.
"Come on Pikachu," Said Ash gesturing to his shoulder "time to go!"
