Chapter Text
Ash let out a sigh, breathing in the smell of lavenders.
Everything was slowly becoming better.
Haiper was reaching out, Tubbo was back, Katie had won her court case.
And Ewroon… he- he was going to be okay. Everything was going to be okay. Because Ash would make it be.
Relations with the north were- fine. Other than the whole Aldo situation. People weren’t trying to kill him anymore.
Ghostie was back, well a version of her was. The feds hadn’t bothered the regime recently. Except their poor attempt of control during the court case.
Ash’s glitches on his face had been shrinking more and more every day. His left eye becoming visible.
Ash reopened his eyes, gazing at the fields of flowers. When he noticed movement in the grass. An invisible person.. Ash stood up quickly, taking out his bow and firing.
Ding, the arrow flew deep into the person’s shoulder. Invisibility slowly fading. Ash took a step back, realizing who it was.
It was cucurucho. Who smiled at ash, waving at him to come forward.
Ash grinded his teeth. Taking out his sword. Despite knowing that he had no way of killing them through normal means.
His glitches acted erratically, covering his eye once more. Ash put his sword away, remembering Ewroon’s deadline.
Ash glared at cucurucho, taking out his waystone and warping back to the regime. Hearing the faint sound of Cucurucho’s laughter.
Ash quickly made his way into his pantheon. Taking out his communicator and sending a quick message to Ewroon.
/msg Ewroon (Hey, I just saw Cucurucho, have you seen any feds recently?)
(No, I haven’t. Do you need me to come to the regime.)
/msg Ewroon (Yea, need to give you some materials as well)
Ash sat down in his chair, looking around at his office. Gazing at the chairs sadly. He shook his head, everything will be fine.
“Hey! Ash, what’s going on?” Ewroon yelled walking inside the pantheon. Ash sighed, standing up.
Ash took out boxes of materials.
“Here. Got all the dyes you told me too.” He said. Ewroon grabbed them, placing them to the side. Ewroon stared at Ash.
“So did Cucurucho say anything to you?” Ewroon asked. Ash shook his head.
“No, he was just invisible sneaking around, then when his invisibility ran out… he just waved me along. And when I left he just laughed.
Ash’s glitches acted erratically, glitching out of place at the mention of cucurucho.
“I- just don’t know.” Ash began.
“QR. You must come with me. You are needed.” A federation officer interrupted, appearing out of nowhere.
Ash took a step back. His glare evident even with the glitches on his face. Ewroon also glared, less harsh due to him recognizing the officer but it was still there.
“No. Why would I ever listen to you disgusting pigs.” Ash angrily said.
The federation officer laughed,
“Foolish of you to think you have a choice.”
The federation officer grabbed ash. Raising him off the ground. Ewroon attempted to hit the officer away. But was unsuccessful. Ash growled, his glitching fully covering his face. Glitching uncontrollably.
“Let me go, you white motherfucker” Ash spat out.
The officer laughed. Smirk evident on their non-existent face. The officer turned to look at Ewroon.
“Enjoy the island.” they said. Ewroon just stood there, glaring at the officer.
Ash was still struggling, flailing around, attempting anything to get out of their grasp. His glitches grew, making his human feature completely invisible.
The officer laughed once more,
“Oh quiet down QR. It would not be pleased to hear how difficult you are being. You don’t want to be difficult right, Subject A?” They asked ash.
Ash whole body tensed up, his glitches quieting. The humming radiated off him fell silent. Ash fully stopped, no longer struggling. His whole demeanor had changed. No longer was it one of a supreme leader but instead it was one of a scared animal. Ewroon’s face filled with confusion.
“That’s what I thought. Behave. They will be very pleased to see you have returned home.” The officer announced. Ash slowly nodded, his hand still wrapped tightly around the handle of his blade.
Ash looked up at Ewroon.
“Inform the Regime. Tell others if I do not return. Or communicate with you. I am sorry I can not help you with the altar, my blade. Get others to help.” Ash said. Ewroon nodded.
“If I am even alive…” He joked. Ash glared at him, his eyes barely visible. Ewroon laughed.
“When i come back you better be here ewroon.” Ash threatened, Ewroon threw his hands up.
“Of course, my dear assassin.” Ewroon told ash. Ash firmly nodded, turning back to the officer.
Who looked extremely amused with what they were witnessing.
“Are you done?” They asked. Ash nodded.
“Take where you want to, follow your orders like the little bitch you are.” Ash insulted. The officer let out a small chuckle.
“More bark than bite from you as usual.” the officer mocked. Ash grinded his teeth.
The officer turned to Ewroon once more, Smiling.
“I hope you enjoy the island. The federation strives to achieve perfection.” the officer said.
Then they both were gone..
“Fuck.” was all ewroon said.
