Love is sweeter than the second time around, they say. Will it be, for Hua Yong and Shaoyou after they meet years after they split up? Will they choose to once again love as things are much better now or they will continue going on with their lives as it is already better without each other’s presence.
“And if that love is worth fighting for, then I would want to risk this heart once again.”

Hua Yong met Shaoyou’s eyes– the pair of sunset like he’s been longing. His heart aches for once the warmth he once always had. Both couldn’t say a word, it feels like remaining silent was the bestest option to determine their feelings.
Shaoyou started off with a cough before uttering only three words but it felt like millions because it took him too much courage just to ask Hua Yong. “How are you?”
Hua Yong smiled at him before diverting his gaze back at the moonlit sky.
“Nothing new, just busy handling the medical firm and the company.”
“Oh, same” Shaoyou felt so pathetic hearing himself responding to the person he loved the most before.
“How was your omega?” Shaoyou despite how heavy it felt to ask Hua Yong that question, he continued.
“What omega?”
“The pregnant, the one your family arranged you into.”
“What? Shaoyou, you know too well that I will never be with anyone else.”
