AM torture ideas

Summary:

My random ideas of how AM tortured the 5 humans from the most random inconveniences to whatever horrors I can pull out of my brain. Some of them were definitely done by AM cuz they're real war torture methods. Many of them are inspired by other stuff too like death metal and other really horrible fates in fiction.

Everytime I read or think about horrible things humanity has done, will do, and could do, I write them here. Realistic ones or exaggerated cartoonish ones but still horrible and within the scope of whatever people (or my extreme BPD measures towards people around me) can come up with.

Wrote this during a really long roadtrip so yeah and on coffee. My 4th coffee of the day.

Chapter 1: Chapter 0: AI data centers

Summary:

AM, as an AI, uses its processing units against the 5 humans to inflict the pain and destruction that data centers has done to communities, nature, and human dignity as a whole.

Notes:

I moved this as the first chapter because it feels more urgent and relevant.

Paraphrasing some quotes in the short story cuz it's how I remember them after reading it over and over.

Chapter Text

  • In the video game, Ellen can drink the water in the entrance of the pyramid but chooses not to. That's cuz the water is data center polluted water.
  • The 5 are given a horribly suspicious chance to stay at a liminal suburbia with endless stretches of lawns and empty mid-century homes. They can rest "normally" until the mechanisms 
  • The "Blistering sun thing AM had synthesized" Ted mentioned in the story is from the heating that the data center produces.
  • "He gave us some manna, tasted like boiled boar urine. We ate it." That's also data center water.
  • AM turns everyone into animals (body horror ripping skin kinda style of transformation), not just Benny and makes them feel the AI data centers' noise.
  • AM degrades and breaks down every single molecule in the 5's body and turn them into a forest. Then, the data center scorches them.
