Chapter Text
Kao is drunk. Kao is really drunk. And so is Jane, but she seems a bit more conscious than the other girl. They practically had to drag each other into a taxi.
How did this happen? One simple explanation: they had a few too many drinks.
“Where are we going?”
“To my house, of course. You can’t even remember your own address.”
“Hmm~”
It was not the first time Jane had seen Kao being drunk, but it always surprises her of how needy and clingy she can become. Such as right now, the older girl was wrapping her hands around the younger girl’s waist; the warm embrace against Jane's cool skin sent shivers down her spine. What reddened her face even more was that Kao’s head was lying on her shoulder. Jane had to slide down the seat a little so that the tipsy girl could lie on it more comfortably. Kao turned her face to the right, shifting deeper in Jane's neck and tightening her hug a little more. Jane tried to ignore it, but the gentle and hot breath that was brushing against her skin made her want to melt away, and the soft, small, random sounds from the wasted girl did not help make it easier at all.
And her lips, oh her lips, how kissable they are to Jane right now. She has never been the one who wants to take advantage of others, so no matter how deadly attractive Kao is right now, Jane forced herself to look out the window instead.
How were they able to drag each other up the floors and into Jane’s house, you may wonder? By an elevator, of course. Luckily, it was late at night already, so they went up without meeting anyone. What was even luckier was that none of her family members were home today; if not, Jane wouldn't know how to explain the state of both of them.
Laid Kao down on the sofa, Jane turned around, wanting to walk to the kitchen before Kao grabbed her hand.
“Where are you going?”
“P’Kao, I'll make a glass of lemonade to sober us up a bit, okay? You can go wash up your face if you want.” Jane responded.
“Hmm… Where is your bathroom?” Kao rubbed her eyes.
“That one. The first room on the right.” Jane pointed to the place.
Seeing that Kao stood up, Jane also navigated herself to the kitchen. She took out the lemons from the fridge, washed them, and cut them in half. Just as she finishes squeezing the first half into the glass, she feels a presence coming up behind her.
The person wraps her hand around Jane’s waist, resting her chin on her shoulder.
“I’m almost done,” Jane said.
The other person hummed in response.
Then Jane found something hot and wet, causing pressure at her neck. She turned her head slightly in shock and saw Kao biting on her.
“...”
“...”
Kao then scattered her kisses, gently and slowly, along Jane’s nap and shoulder. Jane turned around, only to be faced with a shower of kisses. Collarbone, neck, cheeks, ears, and forehead. Jane thought she had sobered up for quite a while, but she ưas not so sure anymore.
The shorter girl put her hands on Jane’s face, still a bit damp from washing them earlier, caressing it, and leaned in. They made eye contact for so long, and even though no questions were asked, but Jane knew exactly what it was that Kao was stopping quite a while for.
“May I?”
Jane nodded slightly but firmly.
“Yes.”
And so Kao leaned in for a kiss, Jane didn’t turn her head away.
