*3 months after the events LMAOOO*
alex was sitting on the couch, drawing a commission (i wonder for who) and listening to music on their phone
♬ i cannot focus, youre all im needin, i cannot focus, youre all im seein'..
as she was drawing, their —now husband— arpegius entered the house. " afternoon babe" arpegius said, hugging alex. she smiled, closing their tablet. "afternoon, you're early today! " she said. arpegius replied "yeah, finished up practice early today. what's for breakfast? " alex got up and went to the kitchen , cheerfully saying "im thinking eggs with cheese? unless you want smth else! " arpegius nodded and replied "sounds fine to me. "
as she was cooking their breakfast(afternoon as in 12pm ok. ok), they started casually chatting about the weather and a few minutes later, the meal was done.
arpegius had changed from his regular fit to some new pajamas alex had bought him the other day. as they sat down to eat, alex said " hey, you look good in those-i mean obviously you would i picked them out:3." arpegius nodded because he was busy gulping down them damn eggs.
the music was still playing in the bg, though now drowned out by the sound of the couple chatting and eating.

when they were done, alex got up to clean the dishes but arpegius stopped them. " i know you gotta finish rhat artwork, you need to earn money somehow so how bout ya go finish that instead? "(NOT rudely, like hes worried bout the customer not gettin the artwork on time and bein mad) alex replied " right ! thank you babee:33" and went to finish up their drawing.
it was a nice afternoon in the house, even nicer now that alex had their wonderful husband by their side. ✌
