On Amazon Lily, a coral-colored gazelle is walking around the island, looking towards the ocean. Her eyes scan the sea, looking for something amongst the blue waves until a submarine caught her eyes. As she stares at it, a smirk grew on her muzzle before chuckling under breath. Keeping her eyes on the submarine, she changes into a falcon, flapping her wings before flying towards the sub.
Meanwhile, on Polar Tang, Trafalgar Law laying against Bepo who is sleeping, soaking up the sun. As Law watches his crew, a sound of wings caught his attention making him look up to see a falcon, circling around the sub. Raising eyebrow, he sat up and stare at the bird. The falcon continued to circle around before swooping down. When the bird got close, they change into caracal before landing on their feet.
“That’s new.” Law said.
The caracal chuckles “surprise you, didn’t it?” Law blinks his eyes before frowning.
“Who are you?” The surgeon asked. The caracal smirks, sitting down as she stares at the captain.
“You remember that ferret laying on Luffy’s shoulders during that Auction House? Where Luffy punch the Celestial Dragon’s face?” At seeing a raised eyebrow, she grins “that was me.” Law blinks his eyes in disbelief.
“Wait… you mean the same one who Straw Hat called Clarity? Are you saying that you’re the same woman I saw land on this sub?” As if to answer his question, Clarity changes back to her true form, shocking the captain/doctor in the process.
“Surprise.” She laughs when Law groans “that’s a new one.”
“Of course. You’re weird just like Straw Hat.”
“I’ll take that as a compliment.” As Clarity laughs, Law pinches between his eyebrows.
“Why are you here, Clarity? Is it about Straw Hat?” Clarity hums for a bit, looking at the sky before looking at Law.
“No, it’s not about Luffy. I’m here to give you something?” That caught Law’s attention. He looked up, staring at her questioningly.
“Like what?”
Clarity grins “a gift.”
Law stares at the woman, trying to see through her mask especially through the white led on her eyes. Sitting up fully, he plants his arms on his knees and clasped his fingers together before speaking “what kind of gift?” As if sensing his suspicion, Clarity chuckles.
“A good one and don’t worry I give gifts to people I liked.” Law smirk.
“Really?”
“Really.” Clarity smiles “do you want your gift?” Law hums, thinking it over. On one hand, it could be a trap, but she doesn’t look like the type to do that but on the other hand, he’s kind of curious. Plus, he didn’t know this woman like him so that’s a surprise. Sighing to himself, he waves at her, giving her a go ahead, which makes her grins.
Taking a deep breath, she closes her eyes then exhale. She repeats the process as the wind starts to pick up causing everyone and Bepo who was sleeping before looking around, wondering what’s going on. It was like that for a minute as Clarity breathe in and out before it stops as she did her last exhale. She then opens her eyes and smiles before raising her hand to Law. The captain of the Heart Pirates looks down to see the little charm of his pirate logo in her hand which made him raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t know what to give you.” He looked back up at her as she gives him a sheepish laugh “so I hope you like it.” He hums, picking up the charm as he inspects it “you could put it on your sword if you want.” She said, standing up “or whatever, it’s your gift.” She smiles “so do you like it?”
Law chuckles “while it’s not my style… I like it.” Looking up at Clarity, he smiles “thank you.”
“You’re welcome and happy birthday.”
“Huh?” Before he can even correct her, Clarity turns into a falcon again before flying away and back to the island. Law watched her fly away, seeing her silhouette become small before shaking his head.
“What a weird woman?”
Somewhere on Wano, Law is sitting on a log. His eyes are closed while his arms are crossed. It would of have seemed he’s sleeping but that’s not the case. Instead, he just relaxing before it’s time to leave the island.
Suddenly, he senses a presence next to him. Opening his eyes, he looked to his left to see Clarity in her human form, smiling at him “hello Law. How are you, sweetie?”
Law huffs “don’t call me sweetie.” Her response is laughter.
“Okay mister grumpy pants.” Standing up straight, she grins “do you know why I’m here?” Law smirk.
“Let me guess… you got me gift?”
“Two gifts. I thought really hard on it.” Smiling big, she clasps her hands behind her back “are you ready?” Law leans back and raises an eyebrow, challenging her. Accepting the challenge, Clarity smirks then jump two times. After that, she spins around before stomping her feet. After she stomps her feet, she claps her hand once before something shining appears between her palms. Law watches as she opens her hands to show him the surprise.
One is a silver chain necklace with the word death on it. The same one tattooed on his fingers and the second one is. Law’s eyes widen as he stares at the second gift. It was a small statue made of air clay but what made him shock is that it looks like “Corazon?”
“Surprise.” Looking up, he stares at Clarity who smiles softly at him “I did some research and found out about this guy.” She chuckles “he must be really important to you so here.” Handing the gifts over, she watches in fond amusement as Law softly caress the statue “you like it?”
Without saying a word, Law stood up and hugs the woman “thanks Clarity. I like your gifts.”
“You’re welcome, Law.”
“Also, you better not tell anyone about this.” She laughs.
“Okay mister grumpy pants.”
