Mint often wished that his mental issues were less complex.
But, no, of course not. He couldn't just have depression or something that could easily be explained away by a chemical imbalance. No, that would be too simple.
No, he had to be bipolar and have BPD and an addictive personality and attachment issues.
Even when he saw psychiatrists and therapists, none of them were ever informed on all of his issues, let alone how they clashed with each other. Instead, he had to spend half of each session just explaining his issues to the so-called 'experts' who didn't even believe him half the time.
It shouldn't have to be this hard just to exist.
