"Dragon girl, have you seen my coat?" Red Son asked, tying up his hair. As he turned to his side, his mouth opened to a gasp.
There she was, in his bed, using his pillows, wearing his favorite red coat, her legs tugged under its long cape. Mei had her phone in her hands and a smug smile on her face.
Upon such an outrageous view, Red Son felt the urge to bicker, his face growing hot as well as the sparks leaving his ponytail.
"Give it back!" He managed to spat.
"No," the girl smirked, not even caring to take her eyes off a puppy video.
"I need it, I'm in a hurry!"
She just giggled, satisfied and continuing to scroll.
The bull took a deep breath, trying to ignore his twitching eye. It was unknown if it was the coat situation or if it was her attitude that annoyed him the most, but he wouldn't lose his control over this frivolous manner. It'd be pointless anyway, as a flamed reaction would only lead to the dragon's amusement and probably even a chase around his room; a mess, basically.
Nevertheless, he was a strategist, not a mindless brute. Surprise your enemy, think as they think. Thus, he had an idea.
Red Son walked towards the bed and leaned over it with his hands. Slowly, he approached the girl until her face was less than a palm from his. Noticing the movement, Mei turned off her phone and looked at him with a curious smile.
"What's it? Ready to give up and cuddle with me?"
He shrugged, trying to act nonchalant, and cradled her face with his right hand, while the other held the coat's neckline. As he moved forward, Mei backed away a few inches.
"Red, you starting affection?" She giggled. "Though I think I like it," then she leaned towards him and smiled inside their kiss.
Red Son's hand left her face and continued the way down, together with his other hand, as he pressed against the kiss harder.
Mei dropped her phone and held his neck, pulling him closer. They separated a few times to breathe, then continued.
After some more moments, they broke apart. With a smug smile, Red Son murmured, "thanks."
"For what?" Her mind was still a little dizzy.
"For my coat."
"Wha...?"
When she looked down, she was wearing her white shirt again, the red coat on his hands. He quickly jumped out of the bed and, with a swift circling move, dressed the coat, laughing maniacally.
"I got you!" Red Son declared proudly and, with a small see you later, left the room in a circle of flames.
Outraged, Mei got up from the bed to organize her own stuff, as she also had to meet with MK. Still, she couldn't believe she had fallen for the corniest trick ever. He was going to feel her revenge, just he waited...
