Chapter Text
He watched her from the crowd, annoyed.
The concert she was playing in front of all the visitors that day, since her concerts were a major event that would be sold out within minutes.
He never experienced that much of a fan club, yet he dreamed of it every night.
He HATED her.
He despised her so much.
She just debuted to Gardenview a few weeks ago, yet she has THOUSANDS of fans ready to see her whenever she updated her concert schedule.
He bit his lip before storming out of the newly built auditorium, anger and jealousy nearly making his perfect mask crack.
"Good morning, Glisten. Would you like some breakfast?"
The mirror glared at the alien who waved at him with a sleepy smile, holding two plates of some scrambled eggs and strudels on her arm. He looked her up and down for a few moments before turning his back to her and going back to doing his makeup. From the compact mirror he was holding, he saw the confused glance she sent his way before shrugging and sitting across from her, nibbling from both plates.
Her high metabolism caused her to eat more portions at times, so she would have two plates as the normal meal. Glisten chuckled under his breath as he then spoke up, shutting his handheld mirror with a loud clap.
"Don't you think you're eating too much? Maybe slow down, or you'll gain weight faster." He smirked as Gummisha stopped, a faint flash of hurt crossing her face before she lowered her head and scooted away, eating at the far end of the table while the mirror chuckled under his breath.
Can't even handle a suggestion. How pathetic.
Soon, Astro walked in next, giving his cousin a gentle hug good morning before going to get his own serving of breakfast. Glisten almost forgot that Gummi and Astro were distant cousins, the alien the younger of the two. With how chubby she was, Glisten assumed she was merely a mass Delilah kept around - when in reality, she was the same size as Shelly, albeit a tad bit slimmer. No one else bothered them with how they looked, but Glisten was the only one who bullied Gummisha just because.
He stared as the two space related Toons started talking about their plans for the day, both of them wearing matching sleep masks on their foreheads as they laughed together. His jealousy grew even more before he excused himself and left quickly, a scowl visible on his flawless face. Seeing the family relationship reminded him he didn't have any family members of his own, and Delilah shut down any plans for him to have a sibling or cousin.
Glisten bit his fingernail as he slammed his door shut and sat on his bed, trying to calm down before he did anything he'd regret later.
Which, he really did regret deeply in the long run.
