Note: These last two nodes came when i reduced the number of Mega Man characters that could go in the tournament. I specifically omitted the "Paper Mario" side just to give all the Koopalings a shot since i couldn't do it for all the Robot Masters.
Now, as for the security team members, I made it pretty obvious that i'm a big "Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony" fan so Shuichi Saihara, Maki Harukawa and Himiko Yumeno along with Della Duck would remain. However my two OCs will also chose their own pics so that the V3 trio isn't alone in their security job:
- Simon The Digger from Gurren Lagann: Let's start with someone who has leadership experience and has surmounted impossible odds before: The leader of Team Dai-Gurren Simon. He would be an excellent leader and his unwavering resolve and gut instincts would be crucial to guarantee his team's success. He will be immediately bond with Della for her personality and Shuichi for his similar struggles. He will also push his fellow security team members to think outside the box due to the three of them being more reliant on logic, which we will soon see. Also one of the mystery fighters is part of his team on his world.
- Hermione Granger from Harry Potter: As Himiko said in the second "Tournament of kikai": two mages are better than one. So it's only natural to include another mage (Even though she will correct others telling them that she is indeed a wizard). Thanks to her intellect and vast knowledge of magic she would immediately know the perfect spell to solve the situation, let's just hope that she has enough patience to deal with her fellow security members.
- Geoffrey St. John from Pre-reboot Archie Sonic Online: Ok, now we're starting to get into the obscure picks. Geoffrey St John was a character created for the Archie Sonic comics pre-reboot (Where stuff could get PRETTY WEIRD) by the almighty Knuckles fanboy Ken Penders. Geoffrey was an "ally" to the Freedom Fighters who then betrayed them because the evil sorcerer Ixis Naugus fooled him into thinking that he had a plan to better the Acorn kingdom. Unfortunately the Pre-reboot Archie Sonic comics were cancelled due to the infamous Ken Penders lawsuit and Geoffrey was wiped out along with his other creations so that SEGA could avoid paying him (You can find more details online). However, this version of Geoffrey is the one from Archie Sonic Online, a fanmade continuation of the pre-reboot Archie universe. And in that version Geoffrey regretted ever aligning himself with Naugus and promised to better the kingdom of Acorn the right way. I think that he would be a great addition for two reasons: 1) He worked for a villain as a spy so he knows exactly how do villains think and 2) He could have a lot of great moments in which he redeems himself for all the bad things he did in Pre-reboot Archie Sonic.
- Adrien Monk from Monk: Let's conclude the formation of the security team with a detective. I'm a big fan of the show (Haven't seen the movie yet because i don't have "Peacock") so i naturally wanted to include him. Thanks to his OCD Mr Monk would be able to find any clues that no normal detective or any other of his fellow security team members could find. However, since this is OCD, Mr Monk would find himself confronting his greatest challenge yet: a large arena full of unconventional fighters with powers way beyond his understanding and meeting individuals who are way too much for him to handle (Trust me, when he sees Geoffrey for the first time, he will immediately be on edge). Luckily his assistant Natalie Tigger would be with him every step of the way, although she may also be in difficulty due to the many colorful characters that they will meet in the tournament.
