Jay-Jay walked around the surface, taking down any raptures that gets in His way.
After ending the Battle of Impending Doom, peace have finally been achieved in the Omnisphere. Seeing that His job was done in that plane of existence, Jay-Jay teleported into a different Omnisphere and the world He landed is NIKKE: Goddess of Victory.
Jay-Jay continues to walk for a minute, before two tentacles shot at Him at rapid speeds.
Rapi notices Him first and her eyes shot up in surprise and concern as she tries to made a beeline towards Him. "Hey, look out-"
She stops herself from finishing sentence as Jay-Jay caught the two tentacles with ease.
Shocking everyone, even the rapture who looks at Him with a mix intrigue and...fear? That didn't go unnoticed with Rapi and Anis as the two look at each other with surprise while the commander looks confused.
"Who...who are You?" Anis questioned, not taking her eyes off the rapture.
"Name Jayvon Jayson," Jay-Jay answered with a warm smile. "And I'm here to help." With that, Jay-Jay pulls the large towards Him and slammed a flying back kick at the large rapture's core. The large rapture groans in pain and tries to retaliated. Unfortunately for the machine, the rapture shut down and spits out Marian, who is heavily injured and has blood dripping from her forehead.
"Damn, that nigga knocked the fuck out of the rapture so hard!" The commander shouted in awe.
Rapi lowers her assault rifle and just stares. She has seen so many things in her service as a Nikke, but she has never seen anything like that. 'He can't be human,' Rapi thought as she examines Jay-Jay's features and notices His...beautiful eyes and His tail. 'What is He?'
"Damn, I got to admit, that was badass," Anis said, letting out a low whistle. "You're certainly strong, Jay-Jay."
Jay-Jay acknowledge with a simple nod before approaching Marian, who is breathing heavily, her eyes have a dead look in them.
"Come h...here," Marian weakly said.
"Her brain has been corrupted," Anis said as she closes her eyes. It sucks that Marian had been corrupted, but nothing they can do about-
"Naw, her brain is no longer corrupted," Jay-Jay nonchalantly said.
Everyone turns to face Him with a confused look.
"You weren't here, so I advise You-" Rapi didn't get to finish her sentence as Marian is covered in golden light and is levitating off the ground.
Her injuries is being healed and life returned to her eyes as the corruption is being vaporized.
Rapi and Anis drops their weapons in shock while the commander takes a step back before falling on his behind.
After a few more seconds, Marian stopped floating and she blinks a couple times before looking around the area and her eyes landed on the commander. She immediately runs to him and knelt to his level.
"Commander, are you alright?" Marian asked, her voice laced in concern as she examines the commander's body.
"I-I'm good," The commander stammered out, still in shock at what happened, nonetheless, he just glad Marian is okay as he pulls her into a hug. "Just glad that you are still with us."
Marian blushed a bit, before returning the hug. Tears dripping from her eyes.
"What do You just do?" Anis questioned, turning her attention to Jay-Jay.
"I simply got rid of the corruption," Jay-Jay answered.
Rapi's eyes narrowed at Jay-Jay. "But how? You just said a simple statement."
Jay-Jay chuckles. "Well, the power of My voice is enough to deal with that."
Rapi and Anis exchanged skeptical glances with each other. They are on edge as this Jay-Jay character is clearly different from anything they are dealing with. His physical strength is not that of a human and now, He can override rapture's corruption and heal people with just His voice? Yeah, Jay-Jay isn't a rapture or a human.
Marian and the commander separated from each other. Marian walked up to Jay-Jay and gives Him a peck on the cheek.
"Thank You for saving my life," Marian said, her voice dripping with gratitude. "How I will be able to repay You?"
"Ah, there no need for allat," Jay-Jay said with a dismissive wave. "I'm just doing what any decent person would've done."
Anis snorts. "Right, I'm sure they are many decent people they would've waste their energy on saving us."
"Anis," Rapi sighed. "This isn't the time or place for your sarcasm."
Anis shrugs. "What? I'm just saying, it isn't everyday that someone will go out of their way to save a Nikke."
"You do have a point there, but it clear that Jay-Jay isn't like any other person," Marian chimed in, her eyes never leaving Jay-Jay. "Let's just be grateful that He took the time out of His day to help us."
"Right, it's obvious that Jay-Jay is a real nigga," The commander said with a small smile. "Oh, I almost forgot to introduce ourselves. My name is Zareen, but call me Zay. This is Marian," She points to Marian who happily waves. "She cool and sweet. That Rapi," he points to Rapi who just nods, "she cool, but she can a bit too serious at times. This is Anis," he points to Anis who is eyeing Jay-Jay. "she can be...a bit dark at times, but then again, she probably has bad experience with past commanders. Can't blame her for that attitude as well, I work with other commanders and they sure are arrogant."
"Nice to meet you all," Jay-Jay said, flashing them a sweet smile that made Marian's heart melted at how adorable it is while Rapi and Anis is taken back by it as they wasn't expecting it to be so blinding and wholesome.
'Damn, this Jay-Jay nigga is cool,' Zareen thought. 'I mean I know I just meet the nigga, but I feel safe and loved in His presence for whatever. Hmm, I definitely do some digging about Him when we get back to the arc.'
Suddenly, their comms cackled to life as a high, feminine voice come through.
"Squad, are you there?" She questioned, her tone urgent.
"Yes, we are here, Shifty," Rapi said.
The squad hears Shifty lets out a sigh of relief. "Good good. How was the operation? Any causalities?"
"The operation was a success, but we have an unexpected guest," Rapi answered.
"An unexpected guest?" Shifty questioned.
"Yeah, some guy name Jayvon Jayson joins the fight out of nowhere and ended it with one kick," Anis clarified as she crosses her arms. "And that not the crazy part, He override Marian's corruption and heal her injuries with just His voice alone."
"Huh?!" Shifty is shocked by this info. "You're joking, right?!"
"It isn't a joke," Marian chimed in. "He saved my life."
"Yeah, and He's cool too," Zareen added. "Actually Shifty, could you do me a favor? Can you search the database for Jayvon Jayson?"
Shifty was about to respond, but Jay-Jay beat her to it.
"No need to do that as nothing will come up as I ain't from this world," Jay-Jay said.
Silence falls over the group as they all look at each other.
"...What?" Anis broke the silence as she is flabbergasted at this. "What do You mean that You aren't from this world?"
"Meaning I have always existed and will continue to do so," Jay-Jay answered.
The squad look back and forth between each other and Jay-Jay, processing this info.
"Let's just move on," Rapi said, wanting to change the subject as she feels a headache coming on trying to comprehend Jay-Jay's existence. "Let's head back to the Ark and report back to Andersen."
"Way ahead of you, because this day has been weird," Anis said as she is already walking to the Ark.
Rapi following close behind.
"So, Jay-Jay, what is Your plans after this?" Zareen questioned. "I would advise You not to stay on the surface, but seeing how you handle that rapture...I'm sure You can handle the surface just fine."
"Well, I'm coming with y'all," Jay-Jay said.
Marian's eyes lit up in excitement. "Really?"
Jay-Jay nods. "Yes, really. I said I'm here to help."
Zareen grins and he daped up Jay-Jay. "My nigga! I will make sure You are comfortable on the Ark and if any person messes with You...just lemme know and I beat their ass."
"I appreciate the hospitality, but no need for allat," Jay-Jay said with a slight chuckle. "I can handle Myself just fine, just worry about you and your lady."
Zareen and Marian both blushed.
"W-well, I'm not the commander's girlfriend," Marian stuttered out as she turns away from Zareen. "Besides, I'm sure the commander doesn't see me that way."
Zareen scratches his head as truth be told, Rapi, Anis, and Marian are fine as fuck and umm...well, he was struggling to hide his arousal during this whole operation.
"Aight, if y'all say so," Jay-Jay said with a nod before turning on His heel and walking towards Rapi and Anis.
Zareen and Marian quickly followed behind and they were speed walking to escape the awkwardness.
2 hours later.
Jay-Jay and the squad made it back to the Ark as they exited the elevator and walks towards Andersen's office.
During their way there, they were met with either curious or fearful stares as they keep looking at Jay-Jay. Word had spread quickly about His capabilites and the Ark is divided on how to feel about Him as they don't know what His intentions or motivations are. They muttered to each other about the implications of having Him here and what does it mean for their world.
"Geez, these stares are irking me," Anis said with a shudder.
"It was to be expected," Rapi said with a sigh. "Quite frankly, I wasn't expecting Him to come with us either."
"But you have to admit, He will be a gamechanger around here," Zareen argued, his hands behind his head. "I mean c'mon, we have a nigga that isn't only strong, but can override rapture's corruption with His voice alone?! Man, we don't have to worry about Nikkes being killed as much anymore."
"Agree and it always nice to have an extra person to work with us," Marian said with a small smile.
Jay-Jay just waved at the residents of the Ark who awkwardly waved back, but it slightly put them at ease as hey, at least He's friendly.
They finally made it to Andersen's office and Zareen knocks on it.
"Come in," Andersen said from the other side of the door.
The doors open and they walked in.
Andersen is surprised to see Jay-Jay among with them as he wasn't expecting Him to be among them.
"Ah, You came," Andersen said with a wary nod. "Well, save us the hassle from trying to find You. Anyway, I have to say, you all handle the operation well, but your combat abilities can use a bit of work."
Zareen furrowed a brow at this. "What do you mean by that, sir?"
"Andersen is just fine," Andersen said as he looks at Zareen. "And I'm surprised you have manners."
Zareen looks offended. "The hell is that supposed to mean?"
"I read your files and quite frankly? It doesn't paint a pretty picture of you," Andersen answered, staring Zareen down. "When you was in the academy, you routinely get into fights with your fellow students and argued with your instructors."
"Well, I didn't like how y'all motherfuckers talk about the Nikkes," Zareen said defensively, leaning back in his seat. "I mean look, they are out there on the surface, risking their lives for this very establishment and our lives. Yet, they get disrespected because they are "machines"? Man, I call bullshit on that! They have feelings and thoughts as well, it ain't right that the military academy teaches us that bullshit about Nikkes are emotionless machines and that they should never disobey commanders."
Marian, Rapi, and Anis are stunned by this as this is the first time they seen a commander standing up for them. They know that Zareen was different through his actions in the operation, but this is whole new level while Jay-Jay nods in approval.
As for Andersen? He is impressed. "I admit, you got guts, kid, but be careful, guts can only get you so far. It's admirable that you care for your Nikkes and see them as equals. We do need to temper that temper and impulsiveness of yours."
Zareen scoffed. "Yeah, people keep telling me that, but I'm still here."
"That is true, but Andersen has a point," Jay-Jay said, leaning against the wall and turning everyone's attention to Him. "Anger can be a productive emotion, but it can also cloud your judgment, so use it wisely. And try to be more strategic because impulsiveness can get you killed." Jay-Jay turns His attention to Andersen. "And Zay is right, these Nikkes are human. Don't you think their needs to be a change in the ARK's government?"
Andersen raised a brow at this. "What do You mean?"
"I can see the future," Jay-Jay said, causing everyone to go wide-eyed or gasp. "And it's ain't pretty. This government would implode on itself if y'all don't get yourselves together."
Silence fall in the room as Zareen and Marian exchanged concerned glances with each other, Anis is starting to see that Jay-Jay and Zareen genuinely care, Rapi...well, she has a migraine now as she still trying to comprehend Jay-Jay's existence, and Andersen is deep in thought.
"Hmm, so You can see into the future and heal people?" Andersen said, a bit surprised at Jay-Jay's arsenal. "So You would be a huge asset to the Ark. However, I'm afraid You ain't welcome here."
"Not to speak out of turn, Andersen," Marian said as she stands up from her seat. "But Jay-Jay has saved my life, surely, you can have Him here as an ally. He wants to help."
Andersen sighs. "It's not me that the issue, it the rest of the Ark as Jay-Jay isn't a Nikke and there is no record of His existence. The higher-ups wouldn't want Him here as it clear that Jay-Jay will not abide by our rules." Andersen's eyes scanned the room to take in the expressions of Zareen and his squad. "And quite frankly, you will all get caught in the crossfire as it clear that you all have developed liking to Jay-Jay or a respect for Him, so for His and your safety...I will be sending you all to the outpost. ARK practically have no influence there, so you all should be safe and not interfering with ARK's politics." He sighs again as he looks at Jay-Jay and sees the mischievous twinkle in Jay-Jay's eye. "And that's not going to stop You from interfering, is it?"
"Nope," Jay-Jay shook His head. "But I will play along for now."
Andersen lets out a sigh of relief. "Thank You. However, I want to see how You and the others do in combat situations. Head to the stimulation room and I will let Ingrid know of your presence."
They all nodded and exited the room.
Zareen was the last one to exit the room.
He looks at Andersen and gives nod of respect towards him which Andersen returns.
Zareen turns around and quickly runs after Jay-Jay and his squad.
2 minutes later, they made it to the combat stimulation room.
"So, that was an interesting meeting," Anis said while she checks her ammo. "I didn't know that you used to get in fights for Nikke's honor, Zay."
Zareen shrugs. "Ah, it's no big deal. I see that no one else was standing up for y'all so I stepped up to the plate and do it."
Marian giggles as she put her hand on Zareen's shoulder. "Well, thank you, Zay. You're a good man."
Zareen slightly blushes at how close Marian is, but he plays it cool. "No need to thank me. I'm just practicing what I was taught at home."
Rapi keeps looking at Jay-Jay, she still can't comprehend Jay-Jay's existence. Not only that, but Jay-Jay is very, very, very handsome that it intimidating. She tries to keep her composure, but she keeps blushing and drooling. By some miracle, the others haven't seen her reaction to Jay-Jay and she is grateful as she doesn't want to take Anis and Marian's teasing.
She was about to approach Jay-Jay until the doors slide open and Ingrid walked in with a stern expression.
"Welcome," Ingrid flatly greeted, taking in their forms and expressions. "Andersen has informed of your combat performance out there and it does need some work," Her eyes landed on Jay-Jay. "And as for You, I heard that You took down a rapture with one kick, is that true?"
Jay-Jay nods. "It's true."
"I see. Well, You are up first," Ingrid said. "I'm going to put it on the most difficult setting. Can You handle it?"
"I can handle it," Jay-Jay said, cracking His knuckles.
"Hmm, let's see," With that, Ingrid heads to the computer and put it on the highest difficult possible.
The room changed in a destroyed cityscape with trap civilians and raptures everywhere.
Jay-Jay immediately sprinted in hypersonic speeds as He rescued the civilians and took them to a safe zone before entering back in the city.
The raptures noticed Him and they quickly advanced towards Him.
"Now then, knuck if y'all buck," Jay-Jay said before getting into a back stance.
"O Let's Do It" by Waka Flocka feat. Cap plays in the background.
The raptures stop their advance for a second, to see the source of the song. After a couple of seconds of looking, they couldn't find the source and continue their advance.
The first wave of raptures shot a barrage of lasers at Jay-Jay. Jay-Jay bob and weave through the barrage as He advances towards a rapture. The rapture shoot a missile at Jay-Jay but Jay-Jay jump on the missile and rides it as He changes the course of the missile and ride it into the rapture. Jay-Jay jumps off the missile and the mission collided with the rapture, completely destroying the rapture. A flying drone tries to shot a huge laser at Jay-Jay while firing a missile barrage at Him. Sadly for the drone, Jay-Jay walk through the attacks without a flinch and He grabs the drone and crushes it. Jay-Jay ducked under a tentacle from a huge rapture and He grabs the tentacle and lands a mean uppercut on the huge rapture. The huge rapture went soaring into the stratosphere to be never seen again. Jay-Jay hears a snarl before backflipping to dodge a bit from a bear rapture. The bear rapture lets out a huge roar that can be heard throughout the city before charging at Jay-Jay. The bear rapture swipes a paw at Jay-Jay, but Jay-Jay caught it and slammed a jumping knee strike at the bear rapture's jaw. The bear rapture staggers back, it vision blurry. He tries to roar, but it soon fall unconscious.
Suddenly, Jay-Jay is caught in a dogpile of raptures as they begin to unload bullets, lasers, and missiles on Him. It didn't work as Jay-Jay simply shrugged and the raptures went flying across the area. A massive rapture aimed at Jay-Jay and fire 4 huge missiles at Jay-Jay. Jay-Jay dodges the first one by sliding under it, dodges the second one by flipping, dodges the third one by straight up running on it, and finally, kicks the the fourth missile at the fourth rapture. The missile collided and the massive rapture stumbles back. The fourth rapture didn't have time to recover as Jay-Jay raises His palm and a ball of divine-demonic lightning appeared. Jay-Jay flicks it to the massive rapture and the massive rapture is vaporized. Two big raptures suddenly appeared and they raised their chainsaws and brought it down on Him. Jay-Jay dodges by performing a cross step. The two big raptures growls before they charge and attack Jay-Jay in perfect synchronized. Jay-Jay dodges all the attacks by moonwalking. The first big rapture grew tired of this and it's chainsaw glow red before thrusting at Jay-Jay's chest. Jay-Jay blocked it with His forearm before countering with a jab. The first rapture stumbles back before it shut down. The second attack begins to attack Jay-Jay in a frenzy, but Jay-Jay dodges all the attacks with kickspins before He ended with a combination of right hook and left cross. The second rapture is sent flying through the city before landing on the stimulation's wall, shut down.
A second wave of raptures appeared and they are more aggressive as they straight up firing a barrage of bullets, lasers, and missiles at Jay-Jay. Jay-Jay evade all the attacks with spin down shuffles and backspins. Jay-Jay windmills to a horde of drone raptures before launching a vicious uppercut. The force of the attack was so strong that time straight up rewind and the drone rapture were reverted to the first protype of drones. The rapture drones try to shot laser, but nothing is coming out. They panic and somehow begins to sweat as oh, they are fucked. The drone raptures wasn't taking their chances and straight up retreated. Bewildering the other raptures. The Titanoboa rapture recovers first and hissed before slithering at fast speeds towards Jay-Jay. It tries to wrap around, but Jay-Jay straight up dodges by head spinning out the way. Jay-Jay stops head spinning and counters with a jab. Jay-Jay hit the Titanoboa rapture so hard that it sees the future and my, what a beautiful future it is as it sees humans, Nikkes, and raptures living in a utopia where everyone is treated with respect and equality and equity reigned supreme.
The combat stimulation abruptly cut off and Jay-Jay put His hands behind His hand like nothing happened.
Meanwhile, in the control room, Ingrid, Zareen, and the squad watches with either wide eyes or mouths agape.
"Umm...the fuck just happened?" Zareen questioned, looking towards Ingrid.
"...The stimulation rage quitted," Ingrid answered, her mouth agape. She has seen a lot of things in her lifetime, but never no shit like that.
Rapi cocked a brow at this. "What? Has this ever happened before?"
Ingrid shook her head. "No, it's never did. I don't know why it's suddenly cut off."
"To be fair, He was kicking ass and taking names," Anis shrugged. "I mean it's never every day you see a sexy ass Man like Him combining boxing and breakdancing like that."
Marian turns to her with a surprise look. "Anis...did you just call Him sexy?"
"He is!" Anis said loudly. "And you can't deny it. I've seen the way you're looking at Him!"
Marian blushes and turns away. "Well, He is adorable. I want to pinch His cheeks."
"Focus ladies, this isn't the time to be thirsting over the new game," Ingrid chided firmly, although there a small blush on her cheeks as Anis and Marian is right, Jay-Jay is a fine ass Man. 'Mhm~, look at those tattoos. He could ruin my life and I will thank Him for it. UGH! Focus Ingrid! I need to figure out what just happened with the stimulation!' she thought as she types in the computer and pulls up the stimulation. She reads the combat date and it says. 'Hell naw, I ain't keeping with the stimulation! That nigga hit so hard that I can and my descendants can feel it! And I straight up the origin of existence and the future of it. That's shit was terrifying and beautiful at the same time. I-I have conflicting feelings about this. I need a day off.' With that, the stimulation shut down the computer and probably won't be back on in a day or so.
Ingrid is speechless as the combat simulation never did this before. Just what is this Jay-Jay? She thought before sighing and turning her attention to Zareen and his squad. "Since they simulation is out of commission, I'm going to have postpone your session until further notice."
"Ay, that's good with us," Zareen said with a smile. "We ain't in a rush for it."
"We understand," Marian said, her gaze never leaving Jay-Jay...who is making balloon animals out of an omniverses. Wait what?
"What is He doing?" Rapi questioned, her eyes narrowed.
"It seems that new guy is making balloon animals," Anis said, her eyes twinkling with interest. "I don't know what the material is tho'."
Suddenly, Jay-Jay teleported in front of them, startling Anis and she fired her grenade launcher out of surprise. Jay-Jay caught the grenade between it's teeth and eats it. Zareen gasped, Marian went wide-eyed, Rapi's eye twitches and she collapsed on a nearby chair as she done trying to comprehend Jay-Jay's existence, Ingrid just stares blankly, questioning if this is whole her new reality or is she tripping off them edibles again, and Anis drops her rocket launcher as she backed away.
"Did...you just ate a whole damn grenade?" Zareen stammered out.
Jay-Jay nods before passing him a balloon eagle.
Zareen takes out and he feels oddly...comforted? Not only that, but he looks in the balloon and sees the beginnings of life begin formed in the balloon animal. "Woah, what is this?"
"That My guy is a balloon animal made of an omniverse," Jay-Jay answered, looking at the balloon animal with pure love and adoration. "You got to feel how it is holding an omniverse, to witness the beginnings of life, and feel everything in it."
Zareen dumbly nods as he feels everything from love, hate, despair, wrath, lust, gluttony, etc. It was overwhelming, too overwhelming as he passes the balloon animal back to Jay-Jay and clutches his head.
"You okay, commander?" Marian questioned, putting a comforting hand on his forehead.
"I'm fine, Marian," Zareen said, giving her a small smile. "I'm just a bit overstimulated. I'll be aight."
Rapi eyes Jay-Jay. 'Creating omniverses balloon animals? That's sounds impossible, but given how the commander was acting...it's might be true. Just what is He? A god?'
Ingrid clears her throat. "You are all dismissed."
Everyone nods and exited the room.
Ingrid downloads the combat data before reporting back to Andersen.
15 minutes later.
"So..." Andersen sighs as he pinches the bridge of his nose. "...you're telling me that the simulation rage-quitted because Jay-Jay hits too hard?"
Ingrid nods. "Affirmative and apparently, He hits so hard that He somehow reverse time on a horde of drones."
"And He combined breakdancing and boxing? Just what are we dealing with here?" Andersen questioned as he pours a rum into a cup and down it in one go.
"That's not all," Ingrid said, causing Andersen to groan. "He can also create omniverses."
Silence fall between the two as Andersen down his second cup before spitting it out in shock.
"EXCUSE ME, BUT WHAT?!" Andersen screamed out.
Ingrid winces, but she quickly regain her composure. "He can create omniverses. I didn't believe it either, but after feeling the pure power radiating off that balloon animal...Jay-Jay isn't the average person."
Andersen leans back in his chair, running a hand through his hand as he can't believe what he is hearing. "So not only He invulnerable, but He can create life as well. Just what is He?"
"No clue," Ingrid shrugs. "But I do know is that we need to keep Him a secret. You and I both know that if word gets out about His abilities...people are going to use Him or try to sway Him to their side."
"Yeah, I agree," Andersen sighs as he sips his rum. "But the thing is, Jay-Jay ain't going to stay low-key, He already told me that the Ark is going to implode on itself and He seems that He has no intention of hiding."
"I get that, I do, but we have to convince Him to cooperate," Ingrid insisted. "The Ark is in a fragile position right now as Jay-Jay isn't our only problem here. Zareen is as well. We both know that Zareen has respect for the Nikkes and sees them as equals. Now, there nothing wrong it, but people have an issue with him. Not only for his stance on Nikkes, also because he has fight majority of the commanders here and won. And they are still salty about that. Now that Zareen has an ally in Jay-Jay...things are going to get worse from here. The Ark is fragile right now and the last thing we can afford is a civil war."
"I know, I know," Andersen strokes his chin thoughtfully. "I told that I will move them to the outpost, but it's obvious it isn't going to hold for long. That's not even mentioning Jay-Jay's speed. He fast enough to be in multiple places at once, so yeah, you're right we do need to convince to stay low-key. I just hope He listens."
"I hope so," Ingrid groaned. "If not, then we are just going to have to prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Enough about Him, what are your plans for Zareen and his squad?"
"Well, given how the combat simulation is going to be out for a while, we put them in a real combat scenario," Andersen answered, sitting up straight
Ingrid nods. "Sounds good. It's be a great way to see where they stand."
"Right. I will contact them now," Andersen took out his phone and call Zareen. It ringed for a couple of seconds before Zareen picks up.
"What's popping, Andersen?" Zareen questioned.
