Work Text:
Zero was sweaty- And well quite nervous.
He was always worried when he visited his recluse of a girlfriend.
She always stood in the woods, Away from everyone and everything in sight.
The millions of “LEAVE!!” and “STAY AWAY!!” signs he passed as he skipped over to her cabin was sad.
After they’d started dating, He absolutely freaked out after trying his best,
[though failing horribly]
To hide his excitement after he told the other zeroes.
He stood up the stairs of Fifteen's dusty and old wooden Cabin, Knocking on the door slightly.
“Go away!!”
He wasn’t surprised, After all- The last time someone stopped by who wasn’t him they got a flamethrower to the face.
“It’s me, Zro!”
“Oh.”
She quickly opened the door, Looking around for if anyone was watching and then the giant bundle of red flowers in his hands.
Fifteen quickly pulled him in, Making sure not to harm the gentle flowers and then locking the wooden door behind them.
She was always worried that the other algebraliens found out they were dating- Zero didn’t quite get it though.
Fifteen’s usual cold and rude expression softened, Just slightly.
It was the same expression she’d made when the small zero asked her out.
It was a rather bad and pathetic confession, He was shaky and worried, Even scared as Fifteen chuckled slightly but accepted.
He was cute, And he wouldn’t stop bringing random things around, So why not?
“I, Uh-”
He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, Not really knowing what to say.
He usually just stopped by randomly to visit Fifteen with no purpose. Just wanting to say “Hi,” or something.
He fixed his hat, Not really knowing what to do other than stand there as Fifteen took the flowers he’d brought her and put them in a nearby handmade vase.
It was so cool to him, She made everything herself, She could cut down a tree in one swing-
He zoned out and started fantasizing again.
Fifteen chuckled again, Knowing how he was.
“You're a funny little guy, You know that?”
She walked over to him, Fixing his slightly slanted hat.
Zero snapped out of it, Turning red-
For the love of algebra she was tall.
He was well, Relatively short as any zero was.
But Fifteen? She was just naturally tall, Especially with her boots on.
As Zero stiffened up, She couldn’t help but giggle.
Her laugh as so cute-
Zero shook his head like a wet dog as he realized he needed to snap out of it.
“You're almost as red as me.”
“Oh-”
He put his hand up to his face, Realizing he was unnaturally warm.
He was extremely flustered, But that was now a normal event as he was around Fifteen.
Fifteen walked over to the couch near them- Everything really was. It was a cabin of one room except the bathroom, But that was obvious.
As she sat down the couch dipped, And Zero simply walked next to her and sat down too.
She slung her arm around his shoulder, And Zero leaned on her nervously.
It was a few good hours, And it was pretty obvious he had fallen asleep, But Fifteen was still awake and smoking a cigarette whilst watching the small old TV.
She noticed it was getting dark in the back window and the Sun was already setting.
Fifteen tried to gently shake him awake, But that didn’t really feel gentle as she was pretty strong.
Zero woke up, He was confused but quickly understood as they’d already done this before.
He grabbed his hat that was on the coffee table, He guessed Fifteen took it off his head after he fell asleep and put it on.
“Bye Fifteen!”
He waved happily, Skipping out the door on his way back to wherever he had lived with the other Zeroes.
Fifteen waved back lazily, Returning to watching TV.
They both looked forward to seeing each other tomorrow.
