Well, that was hell. I did not expect to be thrown from the window of my apartment as some random person broke in. Now I am stuck in a white void.
“You died.”
Yeah, no shit. Wait… this seems familiar.
“You have been selected and uploaded into the Gamer System. Welcome aboard Player. Unfortunately, due to a small error in the World selection, your choice has already been made.”
Joy. Well, if I get to live my life as a video game character, why would I refuse the chance.
“You will be playing in the world of Pokémon. All regions are available to be explored. All pokemon are obtainable. And… due to alterations, to the world, any stats that you increase, will increase your team's stats.”
So pokemon but my team will be more broken than most pokemon teams by trainers in the anime. This will be a lot of fun.
“Let's begin with character creation. Would you like to keep your previous appearance?”
No, I would not like to keep my old appearance. There have always been things that I did not like about myself, and this is the perfect time to do it.
I liked some of my old features, but this new life gave me the chance that I had always wanted and that was to look however I wanted to. I decided to change my hair color to one of my favorite colors. Looking at the falling waves of dark pink. I decided to add a bit of dark purple to the mix at the ends. It created a beautiful ombre that I loved. Next to change was my eyes, I changed them from a dull brown to a beautiful baby blue and changed my lashes to be a bit longer and to look like I had mascara on at all times. I also changed the shape a bit and gave myself monolid eyes that I have always admired on others. My snake tone did not really change at all, though I am glad to see that all of the scares that I had were gone. My physical body had always been a bit of a disappointment for me, as I always had a bit of belly fat, and I could not really tone my muscles up. So that was the next thing to change. I gave myself a tight lithe frame that showed off the abs that I now had. The last thing that I decided to change was the size of my dick. I have always wanted to have a twelve-inch monster to use on all of those hot dudes out there. Deciding how I looked, which included a starting outfit.
The outfit that I picked out was great. I have always wanted to wear something like it, but I never had the body to make it look good. Now that I had the body that I have always wanted. I could pull off the cropped t-shirt and ripped skinny jeans. The shirt was in neon green color that looked great with the color of my hair and made my eyes stand out. The jeans were a black color that I have tucked into a pair of amazing boots. They are a pair of galaxy printed boots that have dark blue, neon pink, purple and black with a multitude of stars scattered around.
This is fucking awesome. I look like a model and one of those scene kids from the 2000’s. I have always wanted to rock that style, and now I can wear whatever I fucking want and look great doing it. Now I just need a name… What to decide on. It had to be something awesome, and badass. I cannot be stuck with my old name of Greg all of this life. I know! How about Phoenix for the first name, and Steelheart for the last. That sounds fucking awesome.
“Name registered, welcome Phoenix Steelheart.”
That was fast. Well anyways… now onto the next step. Which would be my attributes and stats. Well, what my starting stats will be, like the points for most RPG games, but this one is like the one when you are making a Fallout character.
“Do note, it took a fair bit of doing to pull this off, but you will be able to use some of the pokemon moves yourself. You’ll also be able to use some magic or other abilities that aren’t in Pokémon, and depending on the Pokémon, you can even teach them to use such things. Like a Mega Lucario boosted with Sage Mode.”
That is something that I’ll definitely have to try to do at some point, but I will have to figure out some things, like what Sage Mode is. Though it would be cool to be able to find out. So, let’s see the Attributes.
“The attributes are as follows. We’ve removed stamina and carry weight for convenience. You will have access to your own personal pocket dimension to carry any items that you own. By the way, food and drinks that are stashed there will be in the same state that you placed them in.
Anyway, Attributes:
Strength: This is the measure of how hard you and your team can hit in physical combat. It also has an effect on melee and ranged weapons. It decreases the recoil of heavy ranged weapons, as well as letting you move faster while using them. It also lets you swing melee weapons harder and hit harder with them.
Additionally, heavy armor is easier to wear and does not slow you down as much. There is no carrying capacity, but heavy armor should still have a slowing effect when it is worn.
Endurance: Is the opposite, it will allow you to hit harder and allow you to take more punishment from hits that you or your team takes, rather than how hard you can dish it out. It will also add a boost to your armor rating, if you decide to wear any that is. (Note wearing armor makes you stand out and will have you take a hit to Charisma.)
Agility: This is a favored stat for light armor users and favored overall. Especially if you have any flying or fighting types in your roster. It’ll let you, and them, move faster, due to being combined with the speed stat. Weight training can make this stat, along with strength, increase faster.
Intelligence: It’s pretty obvious what this one does normally. It also increases leveling speed for you and your team. It can also help in hacking, should that need ever arise.
Luck: Just as obvious as the above attribute. But we’ll still say what it does. Determines how lucky you are. In this world, it both increases the chance of finding rare items, such as finding a Master Ball randomly…but also increases your shiny encounter chance.
Charisma: It’s a measure of your overall personality. The higher it is, the more people will like you. Being a good trainer works along with this attribute, too. If you have this attribute at a high value, you may find yourself gaining fans much more often. Don’t worry, your fans will not mob you at random.
You’ll also be able to talk down members of villainous teams and even get members to defect and start helping you at random.
Perception: How well you pick up on the smaller details. Good perception will also let you detect Pokémon who are invisible and even sense the Distortion World. It can also enable your team to see things that most normally can’t.
And lastly, Willpower: This will affect your magical power, but also…if you have a Psychic type or a Lucario…or both, you can train in the use of Psychic powers, and Aura. If you train in these things, this attribute will also boost them. It also controls how much Mana you have. It also boosts any attacks classed as special.
You have 100 starting points. You shouldn’t put all of them into one stat. It can really screw you over in the long run. Your attributes cap at 252 each, similar to EVs. Starting value places, them all at 30. You don’t have to worry about the overall cap of 510. This is an RPG, that caps like that don’t apply in. This means that your team will eventually be overpowered. But you’re meant to have fun, even if it seems totally unfair.”
I let all of that info sink in. It all seemed a little complicated to me, but I have never really played many games before with an attribute system besides a text-based game Trials in Tainted Space , or TiTs for short. It was a fun game and kept on getting updated with new sex scenes and battles. Now that was a fun game. I hope I can have just as much fun here as well.
On to the stats, this is what I have gone with for my own spread.

I hope this will be enough for a great start. I would love to have better stats, but I guess I will have to work on them along with my pokemon to get stronger. It is going to be a lot of fun.
“Creation complete. A few more options before you begin. We’ve asked a player we uploaded, prior to you, the two of the same things. First, would you like to have a Cross-world market system? It will enable you to trade items with players from other play-throughs. Including any loot, you get that you don’t want.”
I nodded and checked the box for the market system.
“Second, adult content. You likely know what this does. Usually, we don’t have to ask this. But the Pokémon world is one of such worlds where we do have to ask. And, yes, adult content also affects the things you can do with your Pokémon. However, you shouldn’t go and show any indication that you have such relationships. The Pokémon world you’re going in has Poképhilia marked as illegal, although you'll be able to do a quest related to it, which will reward you with the ability to have relationships of the type, without having to worry about Officers or Rangers.”
“It should be mentioned also that any Pokémon you hold a certain type of relationship with, gets a mated bonus. Which increases EXP gains.”
Fuck yeah. I have always wanted to have a relationship with some of the very hot guys in the anime. I cannot wait to get them in bed. I also cannot wait to have a bit of fun with whoever my starter will be. Though I hope I get to set them as well. It would be fun to have a different starter than the three that you get in Kanto.
“Third, the ability to understand Pokémon perfectly, and hold conversations with them.”
I didn’t hesitate to turn that one on. Being able to hold a full conversation with my team is better than just having to try and guess at what they’re saying.
“Fourth is if you want to turn on male human and male pokemon breeding. It can be one of two ways, where the human is the one to be the bearer of the egg, or the human is the one that lays the egg. This can be toggled on and off with a thought so that you are not constantly laying eggs unless that is what you want.”
Sound fucking hot. It would also solve the problem of wanting to have a child and not wanting to bed a woman to get there. I am a proud gay man.
“And the last, relates to Z-Crystals, Mega evolution, and Dyna/Gigantamax. Do you want to adjust these to fit more as a natural ability that doesn’t have any limitation to how often you can use them, or do you want them kept to the game rules?”
Phoenix: “Adjust them. But keep the Z-crystals and Dynamax locked to their regions. Also, as far as moves go, remove the four-move limit, because I don’t want to deal with that.”
“Done. All additional options set. Beginning the game. By the way, your laptop and phone are carrying over”
This is going to be awesome. The world faded from a black void to a very bright white light… which eventually turned to a soft orange glow. The glow of the morning sun as I cracked open my eyes. “Phoenix, are you awake sweetie.”
My eyes shot open as I heard a voice that I have not heard in years, on the other side of the door. It was the voice of my late grandma. Grandma was always one to believe in me and let me follow my dreams no matter what they were.
“We did not state a backstory for you yet, so let’s do that now. Yes, this is your old grandma, though she does not remember your old life, this version of her mirrors your old world very closely, but she will not die of cancer as she did when you turned 24. You have lived with your grandmother for the last two months as you have wanted to start your pokemon journey, but your parents would not let you leave your hometown of Lumiose City. They have kept you locked up in your home with only your best friend who is waiting for you at Professor Oak’s lab. You were finally able to leave on your 18th birthday and you became of age, and they had no say over you anymore.”
Jumping out of bed, I rushed to the door and pulled it open. There stood a woman of 5’6” a few inches taller than my own 5’3”. She had lovely golden blond hair, a warm smile and the warmest brown eyes I have ever seen. She was a bit different, but this is how she would have wanted to look, as she did not have the extra skin from her weight loss surgery and was the best she could ever be. With a huge smile, I pulled my grandmother into a hug and was just glad to be there with her. I have always loved her and to know that she was going to be in this world as well, even if she was not exactly the same, was a balm to my heart.
Phoenix: “I am glad to be here with you Grandma. Thanks for taking me in.” I stayed in the embrace of one of the only people who have cared for me in a long time, I am glad to have her.
Grandma: She returned the hug with a fierce hug of her own. “I am glad to have you starting your journey here. I have breakfast ready for you if you want to get dressed and grab your bag. Just make sure you call me whenever you get the chance, so I know you are ok.”
Phoenix: “Ok Grandma, I will be down in a few. I just have to grab my pack, and I will be there.” With one last hug, I let go of her and rushed to get changed into my starting outfit and grab my pack. I am glad I received some memories of my past as well all of the memories of my past life. This is going to be so much fun.
