Work Text:

It was a normal afternoon in the Mame household. Chamametchi was watching Gotchiman on TV, mostly for Lovelin, like she usually does, with Papamametchi sitting in a chair, just wanting to know what she's watching.

"So, you like that Lovelin?" Papamametchi asked, trying to spark some small talk.

"Yeah, I like her," Chamametchi responded, not looking away from the TV.

"Yeah?"

"I like her a lot."

"A lot, yeah..."

That was when Chamametchi suddenly turned her head toward her father, speaking in a suddenly deep, growling voice.

"I WANT TO EAT HER, DAD."

Papamametchi was caught off guard by what she said, and in that voice, too. He didn't even know she could make that voice.

"What?"

"I WANT TO EAT LOVELIN BECAUSE I LIKE HER."

"That's not...evolutionarily normal, you like me and you don't want to eat me, right?"

Chamametchi stared with an innocent, yet now very eerie smile on her face. Papamametchi stared back, awaiting a response, but also worrying that her response would be yes.

"No, that's weird," she finally said in her normal voice, turning back to the TV.

"Oh, okay, sure..." Papamametchi said, with a worried tone. He then continued to watch the episode with Chamametchi, albeit with an expression on his face that says, "please God, help me."

"I ate Hapihapitchi," Chamametchi suddenly blurted out.

"Okay, I'm gonna leave now for fear of my life," Papamametchi said as he stood up from the chair.

~~~
"Sweetie? I can't find your mom."
It was later in the afternoon, and it was starting to become evening. Chamametchi was still watching TV, though she was now watching Marine Blue. Papamametchi was looking for Mamametchi, who wasn't around the house, for some reason. She didn't even answer the phone, and considering the previous conversation he had with Chamametchi, it was only somewhat logical to ask the question.
"You don't happen to know what happened to her, do you?'
Chamametchi stayed silent.
"I also can't find the other half of the living room," he said, addressing a suspiciously large part of the living room that had mysterious disappeared.
"Also, the world's been half eaten-"
Chamametchi suddenly interrupted, slowly turning her head towards him, saying in a deep, demonic voice...
"I LIKE EVERYTHING."
