Helluva Hazbin Isekai: Reincarnated as the Embodiment of Greed?

Summary:

One day relaxing at home. Woke up next day not only as Mammon, but also got some isekai-cliche bonus that’ll help me survive not only my new sibling who dislike my guts, but also help with new responsibilities managing a toxic wasteland that is the Greed ring. What could possibly go wrong?

(Chapter 4 is still in drafting. Plan to release it before Easter 2026)

Chapter 1: Unseenable Generosity within Unspeakably Greedy Clothing part 1

Chapter Text

Twiphase: This will only be a small, and possibly roughly vague and incomplete, story draft, about being reincarnated one day as the monarch of greed itself. First couple chapters will purposely be incomplete drafts a means to get some creative gears grinding and hopefully inspire other mammon-fanatic writers to make a better reincarnated-as-Mammon-isekai fanfic than this one.

This story draft was inspired after reading "That Time A Helluva Boss Antagonist Gained a Conscious" by TundraStanza, "Reborn into the vizieverse" by Luckyhyna, and "An Angel in Devil's Clothing" by Tophatman.

Helluva Hazbin Isekai: Reincarnated as the Embodiment of Greed?

Chapter 1: Unseeable Generosity within Unspeakably Greedy Clothing

Part 1: Difference Between an Emerald and a Green Diamond ...

Narrator POV: Overdramatic prologue that consists of big build ups with teeny tiny pay offs...

Within the Seven Rings of the Inferno, each of the Deadly Sin's domain not only staked on one another but also the skies are a perpetual reminder of the vice each ring embodies, painted in hues as striking as the sins themselves. Each ring is as uniquely colored as the 7 aspects of a rainbow. The first ring, Pride, has skies as red as an apple. Then you have the second ring, Wrath, and the third ring, Gluttony, that consists of warm-colored skies that would remind you of a tropical fruit like a mango or a banana. There are also rings with cold-colored skies like the rings of Lust, Envy, and Sloth, each with a sky color that reminds you of various berry-based flavors. And lastly, you have the 4th ring with skies with a color that reminds you of sour and underripe fruits. Sandwiched between three rings on the top and three rings at the bottom, the ring of Greed is the most sinister ring that hardly anyone would dare live in.

Each of the rings is ruled by a fellow Deadly Sin. Lucifer rules Pride, Satan rules Wrath, Beelzebub rules Gluttony, Asmodeus rules Lust, Leviathan rules over Envy, Belphagor rules the bottom-of-the-stack ring of Sloth, and one particular demon rules over the middle green ring of Greed. Across the fandom of the "Helluva Boss" web series, there are various characters people cannot help but feel drawn towards. Though people would usually think of ideal alternatives for the protagonists, some see potential redemption within antagonists. And who better ideally give a redemption arc to an antagonist which people would see as an irredeemable and unforgiving tyrant?

The answer to that question would be a story of reincarnation about how a mortal find themselves one day as a certain favorite antagonist in the world of their favorite web series. One cannot help but wonder what events will unfold in this journey if the embodiment of the sin of greed were to suddenly have a change of heart and become...generous... May we find the answer as we turn the page on this unorthodox chronicle...where an unexpecting individual were to one day wake up in another world...as someone else...someone fluffy...someone who...oddly enough...dresses like a walking Christmas tree covered in ornaments that are shaped like various currency signs...someone who is truly, and quite literally, avarice incarnate...

Narrator/3rd POV

Location: Greed Ring

Across a realm with emerald-green skies and forest-green terrain, you see areas that are just as bad as the post-apocalyptic cities you would see in the crimson-sky ring of Pride. Toxic-chemical dumping in sewers from smog-vomiting factories, underpaid and overworked employees resorted to mafia-cliche crimes as means to make barely noticeable dents in practically unpayable loans with interests, ironic lacking of nature-green botanical resources, and shameless ripoffs of popular locations from other rings.

You will find all sorts of unfulfillable desires and more in the avarice-obsessed ring with a terrain that is just as twisted as its ruler. And that ruler of no one but the embodiment of the very sin itself, a jester-like spider demon named Mammon. From the tops of soot-covered buildings to the endless expanse of cold, green-tinted fog, the Greed Ring stretches as a toxic wasteland, tainted by the relentless pursuit of profit. Every corner is tainted with currency-longing desperation. The sorry state of the toxic-drenched terrain practically acts as a reflection of Mammon's descent into a puppet of their own avarice beneath a lonesome beam of flickering limelight.

The other Deadly Sins have not-so-good opinions on that spider jester. He used to have a passion in the art of being a clown. But his obsession with doing business and making profit made him lose that passion. He even lost his muse when it came to music. And like a washed up hazbin, his greed drove him into drowning in other sins. His pride, wrath, gluttony, lust, envy, and sloth have reduced him from a passionate performer into someone who only leeches off someone else’s succuss, especially if it is for profits.

In other words, Mammon appears to take on the role of being a combination of the other Deadly Sins' negative aspects. Because of this, Mammon can be too prideful, too wrathful, too gluttonous, too lustful, too envious, and too slothful. It would be as if Mammon's own sin, the desire to desire more of something, cannot truly be satisfied. And it may seem as if Mammon might forever be on a dark path to being irredeemable, even in the eyes of his own siblings. Thus, the Ring of Greed may forever be doomed to be the most toxic wasteland in all of the Inferno.

However, not all seem hopeless. For not all is truly lost. Out of nowhere, something unusual occurred one faithful day. A day that might forever change everything of the Inferno like never before...

Narrator/3rd POV:

Location: Various Location Across the Seven Rings of the Inferno

Also, A/N: the author honestly have no idea what the Ring of Envy is like other than it being an ocean, so further details will be edited on a later date (-w-u)

Outside the Ring of Greed, it was just your usual day on the Rings of Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Envy, and Sloth. The Ring of Pride being your usual hub of sinners, the Ring of Wrath being the usual wild-west-cliche farming grounds where most of the Inferno's agriculture takes place, the Ring of Gluttony being the usual tropical vacation paradise, the Ring of Lust being the usual night club neighborhood filled up to the brim with tender moments of passionate yet also consensual lovemaking despite of the never-ending rain, the Ring of Envy being the usual vast ocean of obscure waters with buildings made of sunken ships, and the Ring of Sloth being the usual city of hospitals and clinics surrounded by waterfalls.

And yet, what was supposed to be your typically chaotic day in the Inferno shifted into something more chaotic than usual. Going unnoticed at first, but random areas near outskirts of various settlements began expressing supernatural phenomenon of grandeur.

Crystals. Green crystals. Green plant-like crystals, as green as the chlorophyll you find in stems in any form of leafy flora, emerged from the ground. These majestic green crystals appeared while reflecting light consisting of an ethereal glow. And various said plant-like crystals were also expressing petal-like shards in different colors corresponding to each ring's respective color palette. But like a rose with thorns, a phenomenon that expresses a moment of calm and beauty will foreshadow moments of strife and mayhem...

Narrator/3rd POV

Location: Somewhere in Pride Ring

Hours have passed since the appearance of these crystals. By now, residents of each ring would be rejoicing in new shiny resources. But there was just one teeny tiny setback. And the setback would potentially derail their hopes of having at least some of bountiful prosperity.

To put it simply, they could not be removed. These weird plant-like crystals that grow majestically, crystals that glisten even in deepest of shaded areas, appearing ready to be picked, could not be removed. The way these botanical-crystalline entities present themselves in display practically mocks those who tried and failed at removing them. These unnatural aspects of nature's treasures continue to stand tall and imposing, as though begging to be plucked from the ground. But it was less of begging to be plucked and more like taunting those who were foolish enough to try in the first place.

Yet, anyone who tried found themselves helpless against their stubborn roots. Whispers spread, stories of impenetrable vines that are incapable of being removed or slashed as if protecting some hidden, ancient power. It was quite a bothersome predicament. Not even the might of an Overlord in the Pride ring could remove them. And not even the magic of an Ars Goetia could convince the crystal plants to cooperate.

This compelled Lucifer to form an emergency meeting with amongst the other Deadly Sins. Usually as of late, he would be preoccupied in his workshop working on the next rubber ducky that does who-knows-what. But despite being depressed after his beloved departure to who-knows-where, he must set his coping aside for the time being to deal with a more serious situation at hand.

Not long after sending out the invitations, all fallen angel siblings gathered. Lucifer arrived, Satan arrived, Beelzebub (or Queen Bee) arrived, Asmodeus (or Ozzie) arrived, Leviathan arrived, and even Belphegor arrived (with escorting help with Baphomet). Each Sin arrived in their own manner of pomp and grandeur.

Many attempted to exchange ideas. Some ideas might be interesting to try. Some not so beneficial, or occasionally ethical. And some ideas other rings have already tried. Hours dragged on and each suggestion became a failed attempt, causing the meeting to escalate into a roaring crowd of bickering. During such arguments, a select small few of the Deadly Sins, Ozzie and Bee, realize something. Something surprisingly no one else in this meeting to bother noticing while arguing over what would be the best method to harvest these unusual crystalline flora. Ozzie's and Bee's eyes shifted towards an empty space between them and wondered...

...

...

Where is there dislikeable sibling Mammon?

MC's POV:

Location: Unknown

...it was dark...yet also calm...almost as if...as if...as if I am within a tender embrace with the biggest pillow, as comforting as a cloud made of pure cotton, while snuggly tangled within blankets softer than the fleece in any plushy fabrics. And all of this while feeling as if I am suspended withing something as cradling as some sort of hammock and yet as deep and comfy as a bean bag bed...

...and yet...it just occurred to me...that I do not recall being in a bean bag bed before falling asleep. The last thing I remember is getting home from a typical day of either work or going on an outing to do errands. And my bed is usually a mattress on a worn-out box spring.

I was your basic everyday mortal who lived an everyday life in the mortal plain. Your everyday mortal who like to listen to music, hum melodies, drum nice rhythms, make art, watch anime, and read all sorts of visual novels. I would even watch this YouTube series that is mostly a musical comedy that takes place in the inferno, where the daughter of Lucifer runs a hotel to help rehabilitate sinners. There was even a spin off series I was watching recently, which is basically about a group of imps and a hellhound going through all kinds of mishaps while running a company that involves taking a sinner's request to avenging them. I really liked the series so much, I would usually rewatch some episodes and then read various fanfics based on my favorite characters. Then one day, I lost consciousness from an incident I cannot seem to recall.

And when I open my eyes to see where I am, I realize something. I am no longer in my apartment. Before I even began removing the covers off my person, I could not help but speculate reasons why I am not even in my own bed. At first, I felt too nervous and anxious to remove the covers. And I figure I would fall back asleep and wake up back in my apartment, hoping all of this was some dream and not in some messed up kidnapping situation...

...

...

nothing appears to be happening... still wrapped within a cocoon of blankets in a luxurious bed...and still not in my apartment...while suddenly being hugged by another pair of arms...

...

...

...wait...

...WHY DO I FEEL ANOTHER SET OF ARMS HUGGING ME!?

Instinctively, I quickly grabbed one of such arms. Fearing the possibility of my potential kidnappers realizing that I am conscious, I kept my eyes closed shut pretending to be asleep. Pondering whose arms are these, I did find it odd that I didn't feel another person's torso pressed against my back. Upon lightly tightening my grip on the strangers’ arms, I somehow felt that pain...almost I have only been hurting myself...I thought to myself on how is that possible...

While still under the covers, I built up more courage to try reaching behind my back only to find that no one was there. Then I tried feeling the foreign arms that grabbed me earlier and tried to feel my way up to find their origin of placement. Upon reaching pass the elbow of the surprisingly relaxed limb. I reached past what I assumed was the limb's shoulder and then I... felt touching my sides. I instantly opened my eyes in shock. Slowly as my anxiety and paranoia rises, I looked down and noticed a couple of things. Though there isn't much light going through the blankets, I can practically see silhouettes of my hands pressing against my sides, only to see a silhouette of an identical looking arm sticking out of my sides...

...

...

...and then I jolted while realizing that I am in more danger than I realized previously.

While struggling to find sense in this situation, I panicked and, while under the assumption of being a part of some underground experiment, thoughtlessly rolled out of bed in my attempts to escape. Upon stumbling over the edge of the bed and onto the ground, I felt the awkward tangling between me and these extra limbs...another set of arms that are somehow attached to my very being... Luckily, the floor I landed on wasn't as hard as hardwood. Rather, I basically landed on a carpet flooring that is soft with a firm foundation beneath it. And I barely felt it because the blankets I was wrapped in previously broke my fall. But I was still in a serious situation and needed to think quick to somehow escape.

Freeing myself from the entangling bed covers, the first thing I noticed were my hands... they were no longer the hands of a human... but rather unusual appendages with talon-like digits... which oddly seemed familiar... My own thoughts went to a screeching halt as I felt the other set of arms grabbed onto me around the same time I tried examining my hands.

My body felt more and more like a stranger as my newfound limbs twitched with strange urges. I was completely awestruck. Thus, it made me feel less and less like the person I once knew. And as a realization crashed over me in waves, I tried to deny each of them at first.

Gazing into a nearby mirror in hopes of finding a reflection of myself wearing some kind of mascot suit with built-in animatronics, what stood there instead was the sight of a different yet familiar entity staring back at me in awe. An entity with the same set if arms like the ones I, apparently, have now. An entity who looks like they are wearing an eye mask, only for it to actually be a part of its face. I stared at it. And it continued to stare back at me. Hoping it was some illusion or some practical joke, I tested it by moving a hand only for it to simultaneously imitate my movement.

It was then an epiphany that struck me like a stampede of angry water buffalos. I am no longer the person I once was. Rather, I am within borrowed flesh of a certain strangers. A stranger who is basically an arachnid-like creature covered on fluffy fur...

Regardless of how many times I would constantly deny the obvious to myself, the reflection was a clear as day and as real as it gets. The person in the reflection staring back at me was...Mammon...the embodiment of the sin if greed...and somehow, I became him. Somehow...I was Mammon...the embodiment of Greed...

...and even after admitting to myself...I still couldn't bring myself to truly believe it...my mind just went overdrive, practically grinding the wheels at a ludicrous pace...trying to speculate all sorts of reasonable excuses as last attempts to explain this situation I find myself in...

One possibility that came to mind while examining myself was that I was somehow reincarnated as Mammon at some point in the past, and then went through an incident that caused me, now currently as Mammon, to regain memories of a past life from another timeline of another reality. It was either that, or maybe some interdimensional cosmic entity, probably either out of boredom or with an urge of importance, decided to intervene and plant my soul into the body of an antagonist of a popular animated web series. Now that I thought that to myself, the latter honestly makes way more sense. Logically, I could also assume that my real previous self had fallen into a coma after consuming something. If not, then the unavoidable case scenario would be that I... might have really passed away in my previous life and got isekai-ed into the reality of the popular web series "Helluva Boss"...

...so, in other words... I, your everyday hermit-wise mortal, am now stuck on the body of a fluffy arachnid Oogie-boogie look-a-like, who would oddly dresses up like a Christmas tree, and also has an extra set of arms which I might have trouble getting used to...

...

...I am failing to see how this day can get any worse...

Narrator/3rdPOV:

Location: Various

Time: Meanwhile

Unbeknownst to the poor mortal soul trapped in demon king clothing, things did got worse. First day of being the antagonist of the series, and they unknowingly caused quite a stir in the Inferno. Unlike the usual messed up things that go on in these parts, this day became more and more unsettling with these more than usual abnormalities.

As if responding to an imaginary distress signal, the crystalline flora began to stir... entangling various areas across the Inferno in tendrils of crystal rose thorn vines. Luckily, the crystalline vines ignore reaching the edges of areas with settlements. But the crystals grew larger, spreading stone-sharp tendrils that crept over various structures.

News of it even made their way to the Deadly Sin's meeting. This compelled Lucifer and Satan, siblings who practically share a can't-live-with-them-can't-live-without-them sort of relationship, to nod in agreement on what might be the most desperate measure, using angelic steel weapons.

Angelic steel was originally a type of enchanted material used by a small army of angel warriors known as Exorcists. Once a year, on a day that became known as Extermination Day, these Exorcists would come down to the Inferno to exterminate the souls of sinners. Luckily, they are only allowed to run amuck in the Ring of Pride so the hellborns within the other rings are left alone. Sinners, former human souls that would later become a demon in the afterlife, are usually immortal upon manifesting in the Ring of Pride. At first, they had a false sense of being able to enjoy their afterlife exploring the corners of the seven rings. However, they are forever bound to the Ring of Pride. The inability to explore the other rings eventually leads to an overpopulation of immortal souls.

But getting back to the current chain of events, the idea of using angelic steel to try cutting the crystals seen to be the best logical strategy they could think of. For if angelic steel cannot cut through these tangling crystal vines, nothing will.

Still unaware that Mammon is not with them, most of the sins decided to head towards one of the settlements that appeared to have the most of these crystal thorn vines nearby. No idea why, but there appear to be more of these crystals in the Ring of Wrath than in most of the other 6. Most of the Deadly Sins assumed some reasons why, like how the Ring of Wrath basically has volcanoes and old abandoned mines which makes it an ideal location for these emerald flowers. There was also the common knowledge that the Ring of Wrath is practically a major source of agriculture, so people assumed that these crystals would take root with the most nutrients.

While on the way to Wrath, the rest of the sins just realized that Mammon wasn't with them this whole time. It was a mystery why most of them did not notice Knowing their brother who is also the embodiment of greed, they figure he would also want to get into this action. So for no other particular reason, Lucifer got the idea of asking Ozzie to travel to Greed to retrieve Mammon. Reluctantly, Ozzie opened a magical portal to Mammon's estate in the Ring of Greed while the rest continued their way to Wrath. No one knew the exact reason, but Ozzie and Mammon do not get along the most.

When they got to the opening of an abandoned mine near the outskirts of a village farmer's settlement, the sight was more serious than the news described. The inner walls of the caves were lines with dangling vines of crystal thorns.

At first, Satan, being literally the strongest of the sins, tried pulling the some of the crystals to make one final check in hopes of avoiding the angelic weapons they despised the most. When the final attempt was made and failed, Satan carefully took an angelic axe and got ready to start doing some chopping. After the other sins back away to a safer distance to avoid getting hit by accident, Satan readied his stance and took the axe overhead.

One simple downward swing with the angelic axe and...

MC's POV

Location: Mammon's Estate

I just stood there. Standing in what I think might be Mammon's bedroom, in what may be either a private mansion or some secluded apartment. Honestly, too nervous to try leaving the bedroom into the rest of the building that might have complete strangers as servants. And if the inevitability of having to leave the room come to pass, I can only hope that Mammon is too cheap to hire cleaning services. Deep down, I really hope that Mammon would have been so lazy that he would just use magic to conjure some little helpers to do some once-a-day-or-week cleaning.

As if going through the stages of grief, my mood was like a calm moment before a storm. Grappling with my new identity as the literal embodiment of greed, I slowly returned to looking at my new reflection in the same mirror from before. What happened next was surprisingly calming. Despite my circumstance, I just stood there while staring with awe. In what apparently in my reflection, I saw...

(A/N: the following description on what Mammon looks like, without his jester costume/uniform on, is based on some fanart the author came across... Eventually, this chapter will be edited on a later date if the web series were to either release episodes with more canon details, or probably launch come concept art books for fans to study anatomy of their favorite characters...)

...Fluff. Just as people from my original reality speculated with their fan theories on what Mammon would look like underneath his jester uniform, there was a lot of fluff. What stood in place of my former mortal reflection was a big, plump, fluffy spider-like demon with a belly as round as a fuzzy cushion. My reflection reveals that Mammon main body is mostly covered in albino fur that is white as either vanilla ice-cream or like the petals of a freshly bloomed cotton blossom. From around the wrist area and towards the hands almost like a pair of skin-tight gloves, the fur color fades into a shade of pale green. Even the legs have the same matching color fading from the ankle area down to what look like hooved feet. Mammon also appears to have a mane that covers the neck area like a scarf.

Like spiders, he has these mandibles at the side of his head with fang-like tips that matches the teeth. Despite my ironic dislike of small and creepy-crawly kinds of spiders, I would find big and anthropomorphic ones easier to admire. And similar to how Ozzie has his shaped like hearts, Mammon somehow has neon-green suit-of-diamond-shaped nipples. The rest was practically like how fans described him in the wiki. A forked purple tongue with a couple dark yellow stripes, teeth that match the neon-green eyes, etc. In a weird way, I ironically find giant, and occasionally anthro, spiders cuter than the creepy small ones.

However, I noticed something that the original Mammon didn't have before. Pupils. Similar to other demons who have white pupils in contrast to the non-white eye corners, I can somehow see Mammon's main pair of eyes with 6-pointed-star-like pupils. In a way, it was almost like looking at a pair of faded star emeralds. Originally, I would assume Mammon with have either oval-like dots for pupils or maybe slitted eyes like a cat's.

Turning away from the mirror, I figured I had spent enough time gawking at a stranger's reflection of them being in their underwear and decided to get some clothes on for the day. I went into a closet, trying to ignore the overwhelming feeling of entering some kind of grand walk-in wardrobe. It was more like a waiting room with hangers, drawers, and cabinets. I skimmed through what I can wear in the comfort of Mammon's own estate. I sincerely doubt he has nothing but jester-like uniforms...I hope...

Narrator/3rd POV:

Location: Random Near Outskirts

They just stood there. Even Belphagor, the Deadly Sin of Sloth, who practically struggles to stay awake for half a minute per half an hour nap, stood there with the rest of the sins with most eyes open too shocked to fall back asleep. Never did they imagine that they would see the impossible.

Against these invasive tendrils of crystalline flowers, something did crack when Satan swung down a weapon made of angelic steel as it collided with these geode-configured flora. And the most insane thing was that it was not even the crystals that were cracked upon impact...

...

...They continued to stare at this phenomenon in awe...

...

...They wondered...

...and wondered...

...

...How...

...

...How is this possible?...

MC's POV:

Location: Mammon's Estate

Time: Meanwhile

After enduring the horrors of skimming through clown-like clothing and accessories, I managed to stumble upon a small compartment in the farthest corner of the walk-in closet. Inside were casuals neatly folded and tucked into each shelf. Ignoring how suspiciously odd it was that it barely had a hint of Mammon's usual shade of neon and dark green in it, I tried it on. I cannot help but admire wearing something as comfortable and casual as a pair of side-striped olive-green cargo sweat shorts with a custom-made four-arm-elbow-sleeved charcoal-grey shirt and a viridian open hoodie. The bundle even came with a necklace that looked like a worn-out novelty. Overcome with nostalgia of my past life, I also put the necklace on.

(A/N: The author is not good at describing what brand/designs their favorite casuals are or what kind of novelty necklace they also wear. So, for now, the author has no choice but to give vague descriptions...)

Suddenly I had this weird tingly feeling, a feeling that is going off like some alarm system. It felt almost like how a mystic or sage would sense some disturbance in some cosmic balance. Using my words through Mammon's mouth for the first time, I spoke...

Mammon (MC?): "What the actual inferno was that?"

It was an odd sensation of using another person's voice. In my past life, I recall not talking so much so my original voice would be awkward and wouldn't sound like my actual age. And it also feels odd to somehow use a completely different accent. It almost feels like as if I am talking like a certain anthro blue heeler character from a popular preschool tv series, but with a rougher and scratchy vocal range.

Then, I heard something knocking. Building up courage to leave the safety of the only familiar room in the building and made my way towards the source of that sound. I know Mammon is not that likeable, so I wondered who could possibly come all the way to his estate, especially so early in the morn-...

...

...Why is Ozzie at the front door? Opening the door halfway, I looked at the embodiment of lust with a confused look while also trying to pretend to be annoyed with him.

Ozzie: "...Mam..."

Mammon(MC?): "...Ozzie..."

...I know that Mammon and Ozzie don't get along, but this moment of silence feels as awkward as the tension between Stolas and Stella right before breaking out into a screaming argument...

Figuring I should end whatever is going on sooner so I can get back to my situation, I was compelled to ask Asmodeus...

Mammon(MC?): "...What do you want?"

Ozzie: "Lucifer asked me to take you to Wrath to help out the rest of the Sins dealing with an infestation of crystal flowers..."

...

...I blinked...thinking that I must've misheard that...

...

...and then noticed Ozzie giving me a I-am-not-kidding look on his face...

...

...What?

To Be Continued and/or Extended on a Later Date

Twiphase: Please Review (and let me know if anyone would either like to take this fanfic and make it their own, or write their own isekai-as-mammon story. I would so like to read it, please!)

Also, Happy Halloween 2024 everyone!

Will try to make chapter 2 before New Years Eve (-w-u)

Also, I am not good at writing dialogues based on the character's accent, especially since I have no idea how they would react when interacting with them. So if anyone on fanfic and/or AO3 would like to try doing some collabing, feel free to DM me on or comment below on either sights.

Side notes: (possible world-building spoilers)

Greed; the desire to desire more of anything (reason: if to desire for things also means to either want, need, or even care about something, then it makes sense since greed is technically an "intense and selfish desire for something")

(the following I googled with certain search words)

Synonyms for Excessive Greed = Avarice, Avidity, Covetousness, Cupidity, Rapacity, Ravenousness, Voracity...

Synonyms of Extreme Greed = Acquisitiveness, Avarice, Avidity, Covetousness, Graspingness, Rapaciousness, Rapacity...

Synonyms for Strong Greed = Acquisitive, Avaricious, Covetous, Grasping...

Synonyms for Outright Greed = Acquisitiveness, Avidity, Covetousness, Craving, Cupidity, Eagerness, Edacity, Esurience, Indulgence, Intemperance, Piggishness, Rapacity, Ravenousness, Voracity...

(basically, image splitting the concept of greed into 6 unique synonym-based aspects, each also corresponding to a negative aspect of the other sins)(except for the original/classic synonym "Avarice")(in other words, imagine if Mammon went through a "im-not-good" enough phase that'll supernaturally forces the other Deadly Sins to see how he takes upon himself to indulge on the negative aspects of the other desires outside of greed and can feel trapped to never be able to satify his own sin...)(and worst-case senario, main cast of both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel would have ot confront the manifested phantasms originated from Mammon's personal doubts...)

Edacity/Ravenousness/Voracity=gluttonous-greed

Cupidity=lustful-greed

Nummus = latin for "coin" (reason: the generic/unknown/unspecified currency symbol, a circle with 4 lines sticking out which looks more like a 4-tooth cogwheel, is called a scarab. And scarabs from ancient times were once a form of currency.)

Arcarius = latin for "treasurer" (like a keeper of a stockhold)

why i didn't use the latin word for "suit of diamond" which represents the merchant, apparently the latin word for "diamond" is adamas, and I am not sure if it is wise to name yourself after Adam who, in the Helluva/Hazbin universe, straight up commited Excecution Days behind Heaven's back for who-knows-how-many years...

example: (from english to latin on google translate)

"suit of diamond" = Sectam Ungue Adamantino

"suit of diamonds" = Sectam Crystallini

"suit of club" = Sectam Clava

"suit of clubs" = Sectam Fustibus

"suit of heart" = Sectam Cordis

"suit of hearts" = Sectam Corda
