Aiden is a sentient volatile (looks completely human except sharpened teeth, sharpened claws/nails (from the elbows down the skin turns grey is with basically black fingers), and glowing blue eyes). Post Dying light 2 (waltz is her actual father and Mia is her younger sister)
Aiden and Hakon became mates, Aiden infected Hakon and now Hakon is a lesser (not complete) version of Aiden but both can smell the infected and tell where Volatile nests are. Both Aiden and Hakon's scents are mixed since they are both a version of volatiles.
Aiden decided to stay in villador for a bit- Hakon stayed around and picked up some night runner activities and Aiden got made a special member (the night hunter instead of runner) but him and Hakon decided to leave to visit the ocean. They had found a cabin on the way to the actual ocean that was overlooking a really big lake. After securing it and marking it as a night runner location they continued on. They travel between the two as now that they are sentient volatiles the infected does not hunt them like normal. Volatiles are the only ones that pay attention to them and that's over territory more than anything.
When they stay in the city Aiden still helps around as does Hakon with his business ventures. Waltz is still alive and working with the colonial-butcher. Jack Matt died instead and what had really happened got revealed so everyone took Juan and the renegade side. Juan runs the peacekeepers and Sofie and Barney run more of the outer ring and work with the peacekeepers now (mainly trading and fortifying safe spots).
At their beach house (more like cabin-it has a bunker that's deep underground and its own power source with its own built in greenhouse and garden). Whose ever it was had been prepared before the fall. Aiden and Hakon set up UV generators and lights around which are powered by both water and sunlight generators. The beach house is located overlooking a large sized lake that had big enough waves to surf in.
There's a few near by settlements they trade with (where they get animal meat from-Aiden has formed a habit where he eats some nearby infected). Aiden has agreed to help some of the adults bring the children out and show them to some locations and help them scavenge. On one of the occasions they had found an old bunker and had spent most of the day there before piling back into the minivan and heading back to their settlement.
There was this town (Harran) that someone had made a way to parkour up the walls to get out and you use a zip line to get into the part of the town. Aiden had begrudgingly agreed to help them explore it (only for the reason they would go without her and probably would die. Since she can scare away any volatiles for the most part she decided to go with-Hakon agreed to stay in the area to scavenge around and be called in if needed-as both her and Hakon had stayed away from the far towns of Harran-it being sectioned off into five different parts old, new, west, east, and the country section-where the following took place).

It was about midday when they arrived to the city. At this point this was the tenth time Aiden had helped them explore so the kids and adults were very comfortable with her and took her instincts seriously as they have been proven to keep them safe. As everyone was going down Aiden had stayed on the wall where they had parked the van and watched as everyone descended. A grasp of something that felt wrong seemed to take ahold of her. Closing her eyes she smelled the air.
The smell of the volatile hives was thick as smoke. Snarling Aiden grabbed her walkie talkie and radioed Hakon
"Hakon I need you to head to my location now" the radio crackled for a second "love? You miss me that much?" Aiden grinned slightly "of course, but seriously this place reeks of volatiles and I'm not even down in the city. I'm just on the wall" Aiden could tell the shift in Hakon "I had a feeling when I felt your mood shift. I'm about five minutes out"
Letting out a sigh of relief "what would I do without you? I'm heading down to the others, I'll keep them at the bottom of the zip line so you can join us" clipping the radio back Aiden grabbed into the zip line.
Landing next to the group Aiden started taking "Alright we are going to stay here for a few minutes. I called in someone that's going to help ease any worries" Aiden decided not to mention the volatile stench to the others. They didn't know what she is yet and she didn't want to scare the children. Just incase we stay here too late we'll need to go over the course of action to getting up the wall"
Everyone nodded as Aiden started explaining that they had to only focus on climbing up the ladders and jumping across the gaps. Aiden stopped explaining when she felt a body softly collide with hers. Softly giggling
"That was quick" Hakon released himself from her back and slightly towered over her, leaning on her with a arm around her shoulders "so these are the fools that decided they wanted to explore this location?" Some of the adults looked annoyed at the new arrival, before they could voice their annoyance Aiden spoke "Everyone this is Hakon. He's a night runner, and yes he's a jackass, don't mind him too much" Hakon ruffled Aiden's hair "you little shit" swatting at Hakon's hand Aiden continued
"Anyways we're burning daylight, before we start to explore remember, If I tell you to follow you all follow with out question" all do the kids nodded as Aiden turned with Hakon "I'll follow behind, one of you lead" one of the lead adults, Susie took lead and started the group migration.
Hakon and I fell into step behind the group. Both of us whispering we chatted about potential locations of the nest. "Those towers might be where it is" I hummed before looking around "we should stay clear of the towers for now. We can come back and together we can clear them later on"

One of the nearby settlements power got shut off during the night. Aiden and Hakon were curled up in their nest sleeping when they heard screaming-lots of children screams. Both of them woke up, Aiden turned to look at Hakon with a worried expression. Hakon looked slightly worried but nodded. Without hesitation both jumped up and slipped on the discarded clothing and their shoes before slipping out of the house with their parachutes and weapons.
Using a zip line they got to a platform where they could gain enough air to parachute onto the wall of the settlement.

Aiden's pov
Landing in the platform with Hakon we could already tell that the settlement was dark, glancing into the settlement to see why the kids were screaming we noticed the amount of infected inside. Eyes widening I growled out "volatiles" my eyes turned blue as delved into my volatile state. Hakon parachuted onto the walls to start shooting down at the infected as I had jumped down landing directly onto a volatile that was moving towards where the group of some of the children and adults were.
I turned halfway towards the group as I readjusted my grip on my Machete "get inside and barricade the door. I'll find you when the powers back on" without leaving room for a response I started tearing through the ranks of infected. Once I knew all of them were inside I let out a volatile screech and hooked my weapon back on my belt. Elongating my claws it was time to lay claim to my territory. Making sure that the only thing that was left was viscera and the dismembered limbs of the infected.
After taking care of a couple of the volatiles by clawing and biting into them. The few others that were left decided it was too dangerous and left as the virals had left when I first screamed. Hakon came down to where I was and quickly pulled me into a bloody kiss. He released me and licked his lips to taste more of the blood.
"I'll check on the power situation if you can dump the infected outside the walls-and maybe save some of the volatile meat..?" Hakon let a smirk settle on his face his green eyes gleaming "you should also check on the people"
I nodded and started towards where the generators were. Quickly assessing that one of the switch's got flipped, I turned it back on and found a make shift cover so it wouldn't happen again. I would have to find a way to hook up some solar panels to their system but that's a later problem. For now checking on the survivors and ensuring that no body turned is more important.
