STORY
HoloX has finally succeeded in taking over the world. Using Kiara's Usual Room mixed with ancient magic, La+ Darknesss brainwashes holofans and even her fellow Vtubers to do her bidding. As the rest of Hololive finds out about this takeover, they set out to stop La+ before she goes even more mad with power.
WHY ARE THE IDOLS FIGHTING EACH OTHER?
Unfortunately, as brainwashed idols are involved in La+'s scheme, there is very little that can help distinguish who is in their right mind or not. This leads to feelings of anxiety and paranoia to spread throughout those that are still in control. Hence, Gawr Gura may fight Calliope Mori despite sharing the same goal.
MODES
Arcade-Your typical arcade ladder. Fight 11 random opponents and 2 Bosses before ending against a powered-up Rival and a fight against La+.
Versus-Offline single matches.
Online-Online matches.
Training-Exactly what you'd expect.
Adventure-Essentially Idol Showdown's Virtual Frontier mixed with Smash Bros. Event Matches.
The Gauntlet-Fight all 30 playable characters in a row with no breaks!
Boss Battles-Replay the fights with the 12 bosses. Defeating a boss for the first time unlocks their fight in this mode.

MECHANICS
Supa Meter-Your standard fighting game super meter. Generally built up by landing and blocking attacks.
Status Moves-A move that buffs the idol's stats by a significant amount, as shown by an aura surrounding their hands (attack), body (defense), or feet (speed). Each stat move can only be used 5 times per round.
Finishing Move-A cinematic attack that can only be used with full Supa Meter.
Rhythmic Rush-A secondary super move. A secondary meter is built up through various means (spending time with status buffs, burning Supa Meter for attacks, idol-specific mechanics, etc.). Upon activation, the attack acts as a rhythm minigame, where the player must press the correct attack buttons in time with the idol's attacks (input guide toggle is available in Options). If an input is missed, the attack ends and the fighter loses attack power for 20 seconds.

EASTER EGGS: Playing as an EN member (with the exceptions of Axel, Sana, Octavio, and Kiara) on the Libestal stage gives them the ENigmatic Recollection cloak and some changes in dialogue.
When playing on The Office or Arcana Crystal, there are unique animations for ending the match with a throw.
The Halloween Timeline stage is only available for a limited time, but can be unlocked by fighting enough matches on it.
