Person B: Well of course I have.
Person B: Have you ever tried going mad without power?
Person B: It’s boring.

Just read it through and then posted it so please excuse any mistakes.

Work Text:

“Hani, stop! This isn’t you; you’ve gone mad with power!” Nik said while trying to hold all of her cards.

Hani just smirked while putting down another +4 card, “Well of course I have. Have you ever tried going mad without power? It’s boring.”

Nik sighed and picked up another four cards but since she already had so many in her hand, she ended up dropping some, “urgh, I give up!” She turned to look at Ishu who was sitting on the couch, “your girlfriend is mean!”

This only caused Ishu to smirk so Nik turned back to Hani, “I thought you were supposed to be the nice one, you’ve been spending too much time with Ishu.”

“Hey!” Ishu exclaimed while throwing a pillow at her sister’s head.

“Whatever,” Nik rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help smiling, “I need to go pick up some things from the shop, I’ll be back in a bit. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!” she winked, which made both Hani and Ishu blush but also caused Ishu to scrunch up her nose, “We’re not going to do anything Nik, sheesh.”

Nik just laughed as she put on her shoes, grabbed her jacket and then left the flat.

After putting the UNO cards away Hani cuddled up next to Ishu and rested her head on Ishu’s shoulder. Ishu closed the book she’d only been half paying attention to, and wrapped her arm around Hani’s shoulders.

They always enjoyed going to visit Nik in London, not only because the sisters got a chance to hang out without any pressure, it helped that Hani and Nik got on well too, but also because they could be open and together there without worrying about anything getting back to Ishu’s parents. Another bonus was that they wouldn’t run into anyone from school who they’d rather not talk to.

Ishu let out a breath and put the book she was still holding onto the side table. “As much as I love my sister, I really enjoy just getting to spend time with you.”

“I really like spending time with you too,” Hani said softly, then she leaned in to give Ishu a kiss, it was supposed to be chaste, but Ishu put her hand around Hani’s neck and deepened it. Without even realising it Ishu had leant back against the arm of the couch and Hani followed her, meaning she ended up laying on top of Ishu.

They didn’t get to do this often, or much at all really. As great as Hani’s parents were about them being together, one of them was normally home if Ishu was there. It’s not that they didn’t trust them, but they were still parents and were just trying to look out for their daughter. So, they could be together at Hani’s house but they didn’t do much more than share some chaste kisses and cuddle, one: because neither of them was ready for much more, and two: because they didn’t want to take advantage of Hani’s parents’ kindness and acceptance. But now they had been together for a while, they were comfortable with each other and their relationship and finally just being able to kiss each other as much as they wanted was freeing and felt so nice that they got lost in themselves. However, Ishu being Ishu felt that even though her mind was going fuzzy from Hani’s kisses, she was still aware enough to know what was going on around them.

Apparently not…

-------------------------------

“As much as I love you, this is not something a big sister needs to see.”

“Ah!” Hani and Ishu sprang apart like someone had just poured freezing cold water over them.

“Nik! What are you doing here? Did you forget something?” Ishu asked while trying to catch her breath and figure our what was going on.

“Forget something? Ishu, I’ve already been to the shop and back,” she held up her bag to prove it. “Were you two making out the entire time I was gone?” Nik asked while trying not to laugh at the looks on their faces.

“Wait, what?” “That’s not even possible.” Hani and Ishu spoke at the same time.

Nik couldn’t help it this time and she burst out laughing, “ok lovebirds, I’ll leave you two to figure that out while I put all this away.”

Hani and Ishu just stared at each other; had they really been so absorbed in one another that Nik had managed to get to the shop, get all the things she needed and get back home without them even realising.

They were still staring at each other when Nik came back into the room, that seemed to snap Ishu out of it, “I’m never going to live this down, am I?” she groaned.

“Nope,” Nik laughed.

Ishu covered her face with a pillow. Hani couldn’t help but giggle as she tried to get the pillow away from her girlfriend, when she finally did and saw the blush on her face, she couldn’t help but give her another peck on the lips.

This time, Ishu didn’t pull Hani in for more.

“I thought you said you weren’t going to do anything while I was out,” Nik tried to sound nonchalant, because she could see how much her sister and her girlfriend were blushing, but she couldn’t help the smirk on her face when she said it.

Ishu just huffed, “we didn’t plan to make out for the whole time you were gone, or at all actually, we just kind of lost track of time…”

Nik laughed, “well you’re lucky you ‘lost track of time’ at my place and not somewhere else.”

“Yeah, yeah, we know” Ishu rolled her eyes at her sister.

“But in all seriousness” Nik said sitting up a little straighter now, “as much as I don’t want to see my little sister making out with her girlfriend,” she winked, “I’m glad you two feel comfortable enough to be yourselves here.”

Ishu got a bit choked up from that but didn’t really know what to say, all she could get out was “thank you Nik,” but that seemed to be enough because Nik smiled and nodded her head at her.

Hani, being the more affectionate of the two, actually got up and gave Nik a quick hug, “thank you for letting us be ourselves here” she said before going back to cuddle with Ishu. Ishu couldn’t help but smile and place a kiss on the top of Hani’s head.

“That being said, I’m still traumatised from what I walked in on” Nik said, trying to lighten the mood, but also tease her little sister.

“Oh, shut up, you’re fine!” Ishu rolled her eyes. Hani couldn’t help but giggle at Nik who had slumped down in her chair and thrown an arm over her eyes.

“I’ll never be able to recover, I can’t unsee it, my little sister-” But before she could go on Ishu threw another pillow at her and Nik burst out laughing.

Ishu didn’t even try to fight the smile that spread across her lips, yeah, she really did enjoy visiting her sister.
