Chapter Text
Ino gets really excited planning your first date together.
He's got it all planned out: he's going to take you stargazing. He bought a pair of binoculars that the two of you can share. There's plenty of blankets already folded in the trunk of his car that he can't wait to cuddle with you under. The night of, he makes the best tasting hot chocolate ever and pours it into a big thermos, along with a little baggy of mini marshmallows to top it off. It's going to be great.
When the two of you arrive to the park, Ino is the perfect gentleman. He sets the blankets down on the grass, layering enough of them so that it's comfortable to sit on. When it starts to get chilly, he pulls his beanie off his head, placing it on yours so that it hugs your ears, smiling uncontrollable because of how cute you are in it. He surrounds you in his arms, making sure that every inch of you is covered in his warmth. You giggle when he sips on the hot chocolate, making a mustache on his upper lip, which you wipe away with your thumb lovingly.
And when he passes you the binoculars to peer into the beautiful night sky, it takes a minute for the two of you to finally realize that you can't see a damn thing up there.
You're convulsing with laughter, leaning into Ino, who tosses the binoculars in frustration. "We can't see shit!"
"It's okay," you tell him, lacing his fingers with yours. "We don't need to see anything up there. All that matters is what's down here, right?"
He relaxes, booping your nose. "Yeah, I guess."
"And hey," you say, turning to face him, kissing him softly. "Technically, we're still kissing under the stars."
He smiles, melting into your lips. "You're absolutely right."
