The same.
Everything is the same
Every day
Every night
The same.
Mack sighs. Being a dictator can get boring after a while, is what he realizes as he finished his morning cup of Jasmin tee
not coffee, he hates coffee,
and placed it back down on the table.
He leaned back in his chair sighing, before closing his eyes, wanting to start the little concentration game his grandmother thought him.
"I can taste the resedue of my breakfast, the aftertaste of the Jasmin tea and that humid taste of the air" his voice rang through the room
He abruptly stands up, eyes closed, and walks around his seat "I can smell the grilled meat of an animal, something being burned, blood and also sweat"
His fingers tighten around his seat as he squishes it and releases it in a rhythm l "I can feel the leather of my seat" he walks away from his seat to kneel down, his eyes still closed as he touches something "I can also feel furr that is longer than the last time i touched it" his hand wandered down "some smooth skin interrupted by long, vein like scars. Irritated skin that is crisp, with some fluid coming from places less crisp." He digs his nails in the crisp skin, smiling widely.
"I can hear the sound of an electro motor running on standby" his fingers scrape at the skin "I can also hear the sound of the lights being on, the sound of metal chains rubbing against one another." His hand goes back to the furr, before grabbing it and slamming it into the floor. "And ofcourse the sound of pained screams and groans" he chuckles to himself.
Finally, his eyes Crack open, looking down at the pathetic sight infront of him "I can see the gray walls of the cell, the white light coming from the ceiling, a bloody floor, tainted by fresh and dried blood, some limbs not connected to a body and we cannot forget our dear old Captain, barely alive and unable to speak, dried blood all over what remains of their body" His hands find the way to the Captain's face, turning it into many different angles to inspect every bit of their scarred and battered face.
The Captain was glaring at him, but their lips pulled up in a lopsided smile, it disgusted him now. It used to be somewhat admirable when he still was a lonesome cadet, but now it was just infuriating. He slammed their face back into the ground, but he could only a chuckle, or whatever one could get out of a mouth without a tongue that could resemble a chuckle.
He let go disgusted, taking some of the disinfection spray out of his pocket and spraying a hefty amount on his hands to clean of the blood and skin that wasn't his. "Your execution is tomorrow.....'Captain' "
The Captain grinned and maybe, maybe that grin sent a shiver down Mack's back, but he would never admit it, not to himself and never to the ones serving him.
He leaves the cell, not looking back, missing the blue shine coming from the Captain's veins as the light turns off, missing how three shadow like figures form around the Captain, sort of resembling them in different outfits.
