Each week, Twice a week, there held a meeting at House blossoms where each ruler of each empire would gather around and discuss about business, trades and more. It was quite boring to be honest. It was usually just saying how your empire is going. All the basic answers were ‘Everything is nothing out of the usual.’ ‘Things are doing great.’ ‘Nothing much’
The only interesting thing that has been announced in the House Blossom meeting for the past few weeks were Joel and Lizzie’s Wedding. Everybody was absolutely thrilled to hear this, everyone knew that the two were very close. Some even thought they were already married. Well they definitely acted like it.
The wedding was held at Rivendell’s Church. At first they were going to go with Sausage’s Church of the Blood Sheep but decided to change locations due to the Church literally being for Blood sheep. Blood.
You can see why they changed Locations. Today was another one of those days where it was time for another House Blossom meeting again. Everyone eventually arrived sooner or later and sat at their designated seats. The table was long and white with Pink flower patterns along with a bit of a gold sparkle.
Jimmy had sat between his beloved Sister and his best friend Joel. Jimmy sat across the one and only, Count Fwhip. His enemy.
Jimmy and Fwhip never really mixed well, Jimmy at first of course tried his best to befriend Fwhip or just be acquaintance at least. But they never seemed to get along with each other no matter what. Mostly because of the Cod and Salmon rivalry that has been going on for decades, centuries. No one ever knew the exact reason why Cod and Salmon were two types of fish species that hated each others guts to the last bone.
Some thought it was a petty rivalry, weird one, an unimportant pointless rivalry. Even Fwhip himself didn’t exactly know why he and his empire hated Cod. But Jimmy’s empire and himself did. Along with his Sister, Lizzie. Who was once the princess of a thriving empire, but now known as Queen of the Ocean.
That would make Jimmy, the prince of the so called thriving empire. But now that empire is nothing but history that has been destroyed and left to be forgotten over the centuries.
A long long time ago, there was an empire deep in the ocean. So deep that only those who had a massive amount of Water breathing potions or Fishfolk could go to. The fallen empire, the original Ocean empire. Back then, was called Codalia. Codalia was an empire filled with all kinds of Fishfolk. Axofolk, Codfolk, Octofolk, Starfolk, Seahorsefolk, a variety of other water species.
It was an amazing strong headed empire. That now is left to rot and be forgotten. The Citizens of Codalia were very nice and happy. The Empires resources were more than enough. Strength was no issue nor problem, nor was defense. Codalia was the Perfect Empire. Strong, Authority, Power, Defense and People. They had it all.
It was the most thriving empire in it’s prime. Unfortunately, an accident happened and destroyed everything that it once was.
A long long time ago. Lived the Royal Family of Codalia, the Codalian Queen Mary, along with her husband the Codalian King Posein. Their children, the two very young royals. Princess of Codalia, Princess Elizabeth. Prince of Codalia, Prince James. The two weren’t very old to the least of 5 decades. They were rather young in Codalian Standards. Everything was going well, until one day. The day the Salmon Invaded.
In the Codalia Empire, Fish were free to wonder around. One day, the salmons decided to enter the Codalia empire. At first they didn’t think much of it because it was normal.
Random fishes coming to just swim around, underdeveloped fishes particularly.
It was a big mistake.
Not soon after the Salmons were in the Empire. Some sort of sickness. a disease spread across the land. It was greatly affecting all of the Citizens Health. It was a major problem, everyone was scared and running around screaming as some people dropped to the ground and floated like they were dead. As some just started to stop breathing as they held their throat. As some had incredibly high fevers and Nausea.
It was Horrible. Apparently the Salmon had carried some kind of unknown disease as they roamed the empire. Scientists were trying their hardest and tried to figure out what was happening, the cause, the cure all so fast as they could. But the disease was spreading like wild fire and eventually made them cease to exist.
Some Citizens were trying to swim away from the empire, but the empire was so big it took a long amount of time to swim away from it. And the disease caught up to them either way. The Seahorsefolk, Starfolk, Anchofolk, Snapfolk and other folk started to die rapidly. Especially the Codfolk. The disease seemed to have affected the Codfolk much faster than other species. The species that it affected the least was the Axofolk.
They were known for their strong Immune system. But despite that, either way it would eventually affect them too. The population was decreasing at an insane speed.
In the Royal Palace. Most of the Staff members had already fled. Either they went to see their families one more time, or they also wanted to escape.
The Queen and King were, unfortunately, diagnosed with the disease too.
They called the disease, salmonella.
The Queen and King locked themselves in their Master bedroom so they wouldn’t transfer the disease to their Children. James who preferred to be called Jimmy and Elizabeth who went by Lizzie.
Jimmy was on the Balcony watching his People scream in agony and fear. Running around pointlessly, watching as some Folk tried to swim away, as some just floated, in other words, dead.
Jimmy was sad, and was in tears. He was so confused, everything was happening so fast with no explanation. One moment everything is fine and suddenly everyone is dying. Everything was slowly- Rapidly disappearing fast. But he knew it was the cause of the Salmon, he could see salmon swimming around like they owned the place. Underdeveloped salmon.
At that moment, that was the day. Jimmy hated Salmon more than anything else in the world.
Jimmy felt like he had a fever, he knew he had the Disease at that point. After all, he was a cod-hybrid. But then he felt something over his head. The Codfather head. Jimmy turned around, it was Lizzie that out it on him. She told him that it would help with his disease. Apparently the Head was coated in Water magic by their Mother.
The Mother used the last bit of her magic to coat the head for her son, she knew he would definitely get the disease. She would have much rather make Water magic coated heads for everyone in the empire, but the Disease was weakening her Magic. She gave the head to Lizzie and told her to swim away, far far away and never return, and never to look back with her brother.
And she did exactly that.
She grabbed Jimmy and swam out of the Balcony. Thank goodness they were one of the fastest little kids in the Empire, Jimmy was particularly very fast in the water. As they swam away, Jimmy took a last glance at the Empire. Everyone was still screaming, some were holding their necks, more folk were floating in the water with no movement. Salmon just swimming around like nothing was happening.
You couldn’t see it but under his Codfather head. He was angry. Really really Angry. He wished Salmon never existed at all.
After a few hours that felt like decades, they arrived at a big kind of clam or shell and took shelter there. And stayed there for centuries. When they would try to escape their little shelter, some wild sharks would attack them. At the time they had no weapons, and they were still children. And so they stayed there, stuck for who knows how long.
One day. Lizzie left without saying anything but left a little carved message on a stone for her brother. ‘I’m going to the Surface to find the Source of the Salmon, i will come back, i promise. -Your sister.’
Jimmy was heartbroken. His sister just left, he at least wished she had said goodbye in person.
So he waited, WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED WAITED
But she never came back.
So One day, after a century past. Jimmy decided to go up to the Surface to find his sister. And so he did, not without any wounds from those nasty sharks tho.
But as soon as he arrived onto the Surface.
He forgot everything.
