Chapter Text
"Well how about it? Will you do it?" Mori asked as he looked at the both of them. "With all due respect sir, why would we need to infiltrate a school of no good heroes?" Chuuya asked annoyed as he crossed his arms, looking pointedly at Dazai who had a smirk on his face. "As much as it pains me to agree with the slug, he's right. Why do we need to go to the school far outside Yokohama's borders? We don't affiliate with them and theirs no reason TO affiliate with the outsiders," Dazai huffed, a pout on his lips as he looked at Mori. "At the end of this year, there will be a meeting held by all pro heroes discussing how to handle Yokohama. This year though they are each going to pick a student from the hero course to attend the meeting, I want one of you to be one of the chosen students. Once you attend this meeting, you'll be able to return to Yokohama. Until then I need you to infiltrate UA high and gather information on the heroes that are to come. Understand?" Dazai groaned, crossing his arms as he stared at Mori. "I have to be undercover for more than a month with this hatrack?" He complained, his lips forming into a bigger pout. "Hey! It's not like I want to spend more time with you, you piece of crap!" Chuuya yelled at Dazai who grinned in return. "Well of course you want to spend time with me chibi, I'm irresistible!"
"STOP CALLING ME THAT AND NO YOUR NOT!"
"Awww, is that a blush chibi? Too bad I wouldn't date an ugly snail like you."
"IT'S NOT A BLUSH ITS ME ANGRY, AND I WOULDN'T DATE YOU EITHER."
"You're so mean chibi!"
"WHY YOU!!"
"Boys! Please, Kouyou has already placed the documents on your desk Chuuya-kun, look them over with each other and get ready. You'll be leaving in a week." Chuuya huffed but nodded, while Dazai wore a smirk on his face. "Aww Chibi, look they trust you enough to put files on your desk!" Dazai teased as they exited the room, Chuuya trying to kick him in return. "It's because they know YOU won't read any of the papers! Lazy ass!" He yelled as he crossed his arms. Dazai pouted and looked at the fuming teen. "You're so mean chibi! I do work!" Chuuya rolled his eyes, stomping his way over to the elevator. "Correction, I do your work." Dazai gasped dramatically as he stepped inside the elevator. "You are so mean to me slug," he complained as he leaned against the elevator wall, staring at his partner. "How am I mean for telling the truth?" Chuuya inquired.
Before Dazai could answer they arrived on the 89th floor where the twos joint offices were. Since the two were executives, they were offered a separate floor for their offices, and 10 subordinates would be in the office working as well. Being offered that chance, Chuuya gladly excepted but a certain executive wanted his dog to be on the same floor as him. So he had the brilliant idea for a joint office, with an ulterior motive to get Chuuya to do his paperwork. The office was dimly lit by the sunset from outside the windows which covered the entirety of one wall. There were rows of desks littered in front of the elevator, made out of dark oak wood, and papers scattered all around on the desk as they used older computers. Twenty workers all clicked on their keyboards as they stared blankly at their screens, each wearing a similar black and white suit. Behind the employees was a maroon-colored wall with big glass doors that had gold outlining the material. Double black silently walked towards the doors, Chuuya greeting each employee on his way while Dazai stared at their office.
Once inside, Dazai laid on their plush gray couch, sinking into the cushions. Chuuya walked over to the giant desk, looking at the stack of papers that lay neatly on the wood. "I'm so tired chibi! Can I pleaseeee take a nap while you read those boring paperwork?" He asked as he grabbed a blue blanket to wrap around himself. "No, you are going to help me-," before he could finish, the faint sound of snoring came from Dazai. Chuuya sighed, rolling his eyes as he thought about how this made things easier.

Dazai's eyes fluttered open, slowly looking over to his partner's form. The hothead flipped over a paper as he clicked a pen in his hand, his eyebrows scrunched in concentration as he read over the material. "What are you doing?" He was too tired to try and decipher what his partner was doing, especially when the shortie could just tell him. "I'm writing our fake background and IDs as well as our 'Quirks', which by the way is a horrible name. It makes it sound like everyone is quirky as hell." Chuuya groaned, scribbling something down as he focused on the paper. "also STOP FALLING ASLEEP MACKEREL." Dazai snorted and sat up, looking at the teen who was trying to contain his anger. "Wanna give me a run down?" Schooling his emotions, Chuuya nodded, standing up and walking over. He pressed a button on his bracelet and a hologram appeared on the wall, telegraphing a photo of UA HIGH. "Teachers for UA high will include Erasurehead, All Might, Midnight, Powerloader, Ectoplasm, Present Mic, Thirteen, Cementoos, Lunch Rush, Snipe, Hound Dog, Vlad King, and principal Nezu." As Chuuya finished explaining the projection switched to a picture of a tall man with unruly black hair and a gray scarf around his neck, the rest of his outfit was plain and pitch black. 'Talk about fashion disaster,' Dazai thought before turning his attention towards his partner.
"Alias: Erasurehead, Name: Aizawa Shouta. His quirk is called erasure. He has the power to temporarily erase any quirk while looking at the person with his eyes. His drawback is he has rather dry eyes and his quirk will be temporarily disabled once he blinks. He's male, age 30, height 183cm (6'0), and his blood type is B. He fights with a binding cloth to make up for what he lacks in powers and he is good with close combat." Dazai looks over to Chuuya who smirks at him. "As good as Gin is, to be clear." Dazai's mouth makes an o shape as he nods, understanding what his smirk was about.
The hologram switches to a tall muscular man with golden strands of hair sticking up and the rest of his hair slicked back. He wore a wide smile on his face as he flexed his muscles in the picture. His suit was spandex with blues, reds, whites, and golds crossing all over. "My eyes!" Dazai whined, covering his eyes to add to the dramatics. Chuuya rolled his eyes and continued, not waiting for Dazai to uncover his eyes. "Alias: number one hero All Might, name: Yagi Toshinori. His quirk is called One for all, he was originally quirkless but the files over the years changed to having a quirk which leads Kouyou to believe it's a power that has been passed down through generations and he became the next holder which is why the file switches up. This will be his first year of teaching which most likely means he is either looking for a predecessor or has already found one. His power is a strength type but could be other types if he obtained past predecessor powers. His drawbacks are unknown even to the hero organization. He's male, age 49, 220cm (7'3), blood type A, and fights long-ranged." Dazai placed a hand under his chin, studying the picture of All Might. "How strange. I know it's a possibility for abilities to be passed down to family but it's shouldn't be a possibility for people with quirks. Since quirks are manifested by a mutated gene in a human's body, the body is changed to accommodate the new power. For example, if the quirk was a fire type the body would be changed so the skin could withstand fire. If the body wasn't mutated to withstand the quirk, it could kill or even damage the host. That's why the genes are made so you develop a quirk instead of getting a quirk passed down. Could it be possible that this quirk could be described as more like an ability than a quirk?" Dazai thought to himself, Chuuya shrugging at the thought.
"It's is strong like an ability but I think that's more because of the power stock-piling inside the quirk." Dazai nodded and returned his attention to the hologram, still mulling over the idea of One for All. The photo changed to a woman with raven-colored hair that's long and poofed out in all directions. Her spandex was white with a black lining between her breasts and around her neck. Her stomach and underwear area were covered black as she wore a red and yellow belt around her hips. Broken cuffs on her wrists and a brown line hooked onto her belt which held up dark blue tights. Skin-tight black boots to finish the touch of her rated-r outfit. "Wow, I should ask her for a double suicide," Dazai chimed, making Chuuya huff in agitation. "Alias: Midnight, Name: Kayama Nemuri. Her quirk is called
Somnambulist, which allows her to shoot out a purple mist that puts her victims, MAINLY MEN, to sleep. Her drawback is limited physical power, which means she's not very strong. She's female, age 30, 179cm (5'9), blood type A, and she's usually a more support type of fighter and occasionally resorts to melee combat." Dazai nods, now understanding the reason for the outfit.
The photo changed to two heroes standing side by side. One was a shirtless man with teal pants and a yellow construction helmet, and the one standing beside him was a tall man with a light tan coat that covered most of his body besides his head and feet. "The one on the right side is Ectoplasm, real name unknown. His quirk is called clones, he can make multiple replicas of himself that are of equal strength. The drawback is that he's weaker the more clones he creates. He's male, age 41, 180cm (5'11), with blood type AB, and not much of a fighter. Since he has his clones which are put at the front line, he lays in the back. His suit is made of strong material and he knows basic hand-to-hand combat if the need arises for when he's attacked." Dazai looks over at the tall cloaked man and nods, turning his attention to his much shorter companion. "The one on the left is Powerloader, real name: Maijima Higari. His quirk is iron claws, his fingers turn into iron claws which he can use to attack and dig holes like a mole. The drawback is that he's unable to turn his fingers into normal skin so his hands are much heavier. He's male, age 40, 155cm (5'1), blood type A, and fights by evasion techniques and hand-to-hand combat." The photo switched to a blonde with his hair spiked all the way up like a troll.
Headphones pressed firmly on his ears and a speaker wrapped around his neck. He wore fingerless black and red gloves and a black suit with a red belt. Tan chest plates on his shoulders and red chest plates on his elbows. "Alias: Present mic, Name: Yamada Hizashi. His quirk is called voice he can change his vocal cords and amplify the volume of his voice. The drawback is that the sound doesn't travel well underground. He's male, 185cm (6'1), blood type B, age 30, and fights long-ranged." The photo switched to an astronaut type of suit and Dazai sat up slightly intrigued. "Alias: Thirteen, Name: Kurose Anan. She's female, age 28, 180cm (5'11), blood type B, and she fights long-ranged. Her quirk is called black hole, she can create a black hole from her fingers and it consumes anything it touches. The drawback is that she can't control what it sucks up." Dazai smirked and leaned back into the sofa. "Aww did the hatrack leave it for last because her quirk is similar to corruption?" The scowl on Chuuya's face told him all he needed to know.
The hologram changed to a photo of three people standing beside each other. One with gray skin and a block for a head, his uniform a maroon color with a sleeveless turtleneck spandex and shorts that were connected by a gold belt. In the middle was a man with spikey slicked back dark blonde hair, a muzzle wrapped around his triangular mouth, and a large fur coat accompanied by large fur arms. At the end was a man with a bottled shaped nose and black shoulder-length hair. He wore a red cloak and a brown cowboy hat that had the letter 'S' imprinted on the front of it. His arm was stretched out on the side of his body with a gun for a hand. "The one on the left is named Ishiyama Ken or rather Cementoss. His quirk is called cement, he can create cement structures and solidify or liquefy them. Drawbacks are unknown. He's male, age 28, 185cm (6'1), blood type B, and he never partakes in fights. He is a part of rescue teams and occasionally protects others in battle." Dazai snorts at his blocky appearance, shifting his eyes over towards the dog-looking fella. "The middle one is Inui Ryo or Hound dog. His quirk is he has dog-like abilities, which was probably a given since he looks like a dog. He's male, age 32, 196cm (6'5), blood type A, and he's a hand-to-hand fighter, he's very temperamental and excitable and has the personality like a dog." Dazai smirks at Chuuya, thinking about this pro hero but with orange hair and a silly top hat. "Finally we have pro hero Snipe, real name unknown. His quirk allows him to create guns out of his body and lock onto a target. The drawback is that he's unable to calculate which part of the body he will hit. He's male, age 35, 181cm (5'11 1/4), blood type A, and he uses long-ranged attacks."
The image switches to a tall man with gold glasses and spikey white hair. He wears a red open vest spandex that has white boots, belt, and armlets. The suit also holds a tube that is connected to the hero's body and connected to the left armlet. "Alias: Vlad King, name: Kan Sekijirou. His quirk is blood control, once blood is out in the air he can manipulate its solubility and its movements. The drawbacks are that it has to be his blood though. He's male, age 30, 194cm (6'4 1/2), blood type B and he can do close combat and ranged combat." The photo switched to a chef-looking man who has a mask attached to his face. "Alias: lunch rush, name: unknown. His quirk is unknown as well which usually would make him a viable threat if he wasn't known for exquisite food. He's male, age 30, blood type b, 194cms (6'4), and he's not a fighter at all." The photo changed to a short mouse man with a suit on and his hands behind his back.
"He would be our biggest threat. Principal Nezu is a human-made animal experiment that also has a quirk called high spec. High Spec grants the user unparalleled intelligence, perception, and comprehension that far surpasses that of any human. Which makes him the hugest threat of them all, one slip up and he will know who we are and why we are there. He may already possibly know were suspicious once we enroll. He's male, 85cms (2'9), blood type A, and uses intelligence on the battlefield." Dazai sits up properly, squinting at the picture. "So he's more like me than you. I should probably go over the identities and backgrounds to make sure theirs no possible slip-ups he can find. We should both have them memorized to heart as well so we won't make any slip-ups." Chuuya nods, passing the handwritten files over. "Also Chuuya, we must hold back most of our ability." Chuuya arched his eyebrow, waiting for him to further explain.
"Abilities are far more powerful than quirks are, quirks are basically like babies with weak abilities, even the most powerful are at best toddler strength. Also, do you know how quirks came to be?" Chuuya shook his head, waiting for his partner to elaborate. "An airborne infection was released in America created by the Russians to eliminate Americans. Quickly the airborne disease started infecting closer countries. Worried for the safety of the Yokohama citizens, an ability user named Fuhika Yogi used her ability to create a dome surrounding Yokohama. It encased the country into an impenetrable dome, to keep out the airborne disease. Countries went to war for five years before the first toddler developed a quirk. Then a couple more children began to develop quirks. Fearing for the Yokohama citizens, the port mafia developed a cure for the airborne disease and shared it with the president, who immediately made copies and forced all Yokohama citizens to either take the cure or leave the country and all gladly took the cure. While the world began obsessing over quirks we began developing better technology, that's when the DOY was created by scientist Char Yukizarma. The DOY or Dome Of Yokohama, was a device created that can: withstand the strongest of quirks, is like a one-way mirror so you can see it on the outside of Yokohama but not on the inside, and filters air and water so the ocean could now naturally run freely into Yokohama as can the air but will no longer have the airborne disease in the oxygen. It's also able to open it up at certain patches so Yokohama citizens were allowed to leave and return to Yokohama. More quirks developed and people became even more obsessed with them and with the idea of villains and heroes while Yokohama focused on evolving as a society. Abilities had always existed, so it isn't a mutation of the body but rather its own separate thing." Chuuya nodded, taking in the information.
The short teen walked over to the couch, slumping in beside Dazai as he finished reading the paper. "Seriously! Do we have to be 15? I mean I know you've got the height but I don't!" Chuuya elbowed Dazai, a frown on his face. "Shitty Dazai, stop focusing on my height! Also, we're infiltrating first years so of course we have to be their age," Chuuya growled, snatching the blanket that was on Dazai's lap. "Why don't we head home for the night Chibi? I can drop these off at Ane-san's office when we pass it." Chuuya groaned and nodded, slinking off the couch as Dazai finished reading the papers, making slight corrections to them.

"Can you put our citizenships somewhere?" Chuuya asked as he placed their weapons into a secret compartment of their bedroom. "Don't worry chibi, I've placed them into a different secret compartment," Chuuya groaned but nodded clicking the fake wall back in place. "Do you remember our background?" Dazai nodded, slipping his black suit coat off his arms. "Chibi and I are both orphans who used to live in the slums of Japan until we were adopted by the same foster mom, is that right?" Chuuya rolled his eyes but nodded. "How do I look? Do I look like a teenager or what?" Chuuya shifted his eyes over to his partner, sweeping over his outfit. Dazai was wearing a long-sleeved white dress shirt, with a black tie around his collar. He had bandages wrapped around his arms and neck. His dress shirt was tucked into his brown belt and black pants. "You look okay, I guess," Chuuya added, Dazai shooting him a pout. "You don't look any better Chibi!" Chuuya was wearing a white button-up shirt with a pale green vest and a black tie positioned on top of the vest. He had black pants and a brown belt that was similar to the ones Dazai wore. To top it all off, he had black gloves and a black suit coat draped onto his shoulders. "STOP CALLING ME CHIBI DAMN IT!" Chuuya barked, throwing a kick towards Dazai's way.
"Chibiiiiii you're so mean!" And another kick was thrown his way. "Stop calling me that damn it!" Before Chuuya could yell anymore, their bedroom door opened and a woman walked in with her arms crossed. "Boys, it's time for your entrance exam. Chuuya hopped off his bed, slinking over to the bedroom door. "Thanks, Emily!" The brunette nodded, a small smile on her face as she stalked out of the hallway. "Thank you moooooom!" Dazai teased, following behind Chuuya. "God I hate you."
