Prologue [ Explanation ]

I was reincarnated into a novel.

It sounds incredibly absurd and unrealistic but it is the truth. I was brought into the novel shortly after I died in my previous life.

And do you know what shocked me the most? That I have been reincarnated as the main character of that novel. Seriously though, God what the hell are you thinking! Of all the novels why did you put me in this novel? This is the worst novel of the worst.

' Exceeding! ' is a 3-parts novel series about the adventures of the main character in the magical school Luna Nova. Through 3 parts we will see the growth of the main character and the harsh challenges she has to go through alone or with her friends. A series that contains elements of magic, action, and fantasy, and the main element is romance.

Set on a planet that is full of endless energy that people called magic, humans can use that energy for many different useful things without having to do physical work, and gradually that energy has become the most honored thing in that world. But not everyone can use that energy, magic is something that hides a bunch of mysteries, most of those who come from noble families can have the ability to use magic and contrary to that, commoners are only a minority of those capable of using magic.

No one had a theory as to why it was so unfair, so there were always disputes between nobles and commoners. And those who cannot use that endless source of energy always suffer the most.

Magic is divided into different elements such as fire, water, wind, thunder, and earth. On average, a magic-user can only use 2 elements, rarely 3 elements, and no one can use all elements yet. Of those elements, we can use them as spells according to our creativity.

Atsuko Kagari is the name of the main character of this novel, born from a poor blacksmith family, little girl Atsuko luckily can use magic which is very rare in the world of commoners. Happy and proud of their daughter, the Kagari parents decide to enroll Atsuko in the famous magic school Luna Nova, where her wonderful but complicated journey begins.

Going through the journey Atsuko will meet different characters, but we must mention important characters such as:

  1. Andrew Hanbridge: The crown prince of Appleton kingdom, most of the girls had a passion for him because of his handsome face and his position, was one of the boys who fell in love with Atsuko.
  2. Frank Smith: The second son of the earl family, Andrew's best friend and is fond of pretty or good-hearted girls, falls in love with Akko when she helps him with his problems.
  3. Louis Blackwell: The eldest son of an important noble family of the Appleton kingdom, he was bossy and rude so not many people liked him. Falling in love with Atsuko when he realizes that only she is truly nice to him.
  4. Diana Cavendish: Lady of the Cavendish family, is the antagonist of the novel and often bullies Atsuko with her best friends, Hannah and Barbara. Being the most beautiful girl in the academy, it's no wonder that almost all the boys in the academy adore her but because of her arrogant personality, she doesn't pay attention to any guy. Being a prodigy, Diana can be able to perform impressive magical skills and possesses extensive arcane knowledge. She was arranged to marry the crown prince, although she had no feelings for him, because of the family, she had to accept it. Diana Cavendish lost her mother when she was young, so her personality is cold, and rarely shows any emotions.
  5. Chariot Du Nord: The teacher at Luna Nova Academy, who always helps Atsuko during her journey, is a kind person who wishes for helping others and defending the people that can't use magic or the people that need help. One of Luna Nova's best teachers.
  6. Amanda O'Neill: Atsuko Kagari's buddy, troublemaking girl and is one of the important characters that help Atsuko accomplish the challenges. Amanda is very athletic, a tomboy with acrobatic talents, most evident when she uses flying spells in the wind element.

And other characters that only support the main character.

I have read all the chapters and fully understand how the story progresses, and believe me I won't let them like in the novel.

Saying that Atsuko Kagari's journey ended well with the progress of defeating the demon lord and saving the world from dark magic, it would have been a good ending if the extra plot of the story did not exist.

Andrew Hanbridge being the king and broke off his engagement with Diana Cavendish, and the Cavendish family receive the death penalty for falling into dark magic and betraying the kingdom.

Chariot Du Nord died in the battle with the Demon Lord and it's an awfully unfortunate death.

Atsuko Kagari rejects the confessions of Louis Blackwell and Frank Smith, she decided to marry Andrew Hanbridge and live happily ever after with him but no, Atsuko was abused every day by that man because he found out that she couldn't get pregnant due to caused by the poison of the demon king in the battle, depressed and broken because of not being able to have children Andrew begins to cheating at her with another woman and beats Atsuko so much that the main character has to die painfully with a broken heart.

The other characters unfortunately also suffer from various dangers that they should not have.

This novel does not have a happy ending, mostly just painful deaths, unresolved issues, and emotions that rotten every day.

If this is a price to pay for the death of my previous life, then I will accept it.

I will start from zero, just to bring the happiest ending for myself the main character, and the other characters.

No matter how much trouble lies ahead waiting for me. No matter how much blood I have to spill. No matter how many complaints I have to receive.

I will change this novel, all of it.

Notes:

Reincarnation is one of the hottest and most viewed topics.
I quite liked the topic and thought 'Oh, why don't make it for Diakko?' and boom, this story was born.
( I just wanted to write this for fun so I don't think I'll finish it or anything, if you don't like the topic of reincarnation please leave now and don't give me negative feedback.)
I only write for my own pleasure, so if you find it interesting, I would like to thank you.
