Chapter Text
An orb spins around in the center of a foggy room. It is all-seeing, yet clouded. Its colors interchange until a unanimous form enters the vicinity. A bright yellow radiates around them until it calms down with a touch of a hand.
“Have you been waiting for long?” They muse out, but the orb shakes itself. They chuckle as they settle themselves down onto the floor, carefully bringing the orb to their being. “That’s good. How wonderful.” They pat its rounded surface ever so gently.
The orb lets out both a pleased and confused hum, just wondering what they were doing here today. They were supposed to be busy today…did they skip out of work? It tried to question the being this, but a shush and smile from them made it quiet down.
“Let’s keep that to ourselves hmm?” They say with amusement, already making their form stable to access the orb even further. “Now let’s see what we have here…” They have something in mind and their smile hasn’t disappeared as they spin the orb carefully.
Many different images of archangels and angels appear on the surface of the orb, but they are the ones that the being is looking for. Instead, they skimmed right into the forbidden files, which made the orb flash in red in alarm. “Do be quiet.” They commanded firmly, and the orb had no choice but to do so.
One caught their eyes in particular and they tapped on the orb, which stopped on him. “Oh…this child…” They hum out, witnessing the hooded figure resting with a sleeping girl on his lap. Seeing this made them smile in delight. “To think that there would be someone to cherish him…how wonderful.” The same wouldn’t be said for his time here, but their hands glow brightly.
This made the orb produce even more confused hums, as nothing had changed from this encounter. The being merely continues to smile and gives the orb a gentle pat once they are done. “You will see soon enough.”
