Something's up with Jimin.

Sequel to Serendipity

Notes:

Good morning/afternoon/evening!!! Welcome back!!! To the sequel!!!!! I am!!!! Excited!!!

If you are someone who just found this, and didn't read the first part of this series GO AND DO THAT. This one will make no sense, to some extent, if you haven't read the first one.

Good news! This part of the story doesn't have MCD! However, it does deal with the aftermath of it, sort of. Not really, but sort of. You'll understand when you get to that part. Plus, I mean, it's a sequel, so it's going to deal with the first book. Sort of.

Also, you're going to want to start paying attention to the tags, as I will be tagging this as I go. So if something comes up that bothers you, you'll know.

It's going to be so nice not having to write out every single warning at the beginning of each chapter.

Without further ado, commence your reading and I hope you enjoy! ^-^

Chapter Text

In the spacious office, a pitch black darkness surrounds a brightly lit desktop. Male figures dance across the screen, pop music blaring loudly. They had come such a long way in such a short amount of time.

The man in front of the monitor smiles. He helped create that. He-

The lights suddenly flick on and the man flinches from the sudden harshness, pausing the video. “Who-”

“Oh, I'm sorry, sir,” it's one of the managers. “I was just dropping this-” he gestures to the folder in his hands. “-off before I headed home. It's gotten quite late, sir.”

The man laughs and stretches. “It has, hasn't it. I hadn't even realized how late it's gotten. Too busy admiring how far our boys have come.”

“They have been doing very well, sir,” the manager agrees happily. “You must be very proud.”

The man turns back to the monitor, the screen frozen in the face of a light tangerine haired, smiling boy. He takes one finger and lightly brushes it against the screen, right above the boy’s face. “Yes, I am,” he hums. “Especially this one right here.”

The manager peers closer at the screen. “Why that one, sir?”

“I've never felt so proud of someone,” he sighs in response. “He had to make a very difficult decision in his past to shape his future. And he chose right.”

The man snaps out of his sudden trance and smiles up at the manager mysteriously. “Just as he was supposed to.”
