Bio

I am a mother, wife, attorney, former engineer, and started writing purely as an outlet for myself. A lifelong love of books drove my passion to create something that was all my own. I started writing stories and fan fiction as an outlet after finishing law school. I had been in graduate school for four years, earning a masters degree and a JD, and had been required to read more than 100 pages then write case briefs & memos of upwards of 2,000 words per day. Every day. For Four Years. Then I took the bar exam and it all stopped. The bar exam is in July, my job didn’t start until after Labor Day, and I found myself at home with an 18 month old baby and NOTHING. TO. DO. So I started writing the kinds of stories I loved to read.

Fan fiction became the thing I read for myself in between law treatises and SCOTUS cases. AO3 has become the place I always come when I need a pick me up and a laugh. This community is so beautiful, thoughtful and kind. I have never had a bad experience with anyone on this platform. I don't know how they have managed it, but I don't see trolls or creeps anywhere on this platform. Truly a miracle and an online haven for creatives to support each other.
