They understand each other by the whoosh of a robe, the curve in an eyebrow, or the map of an idle, restless hand. Obviously, their most powerful asset in this is the Force. Anakin's supernova of emotions bleeds almost involuntarily into Obi-Wan’s Force signature, even with the best of shielding. However, even without their bond to rely upon, they communicate with a flick of the eyelash or a tense shoulder. Their silence leaves room for easy communication, for something far, far beyond words.
