The muscles in the egotist's neck flexed as he was about to turn and see what the disruption of one of the calm moments he shared with Rin was about. Before he had the chance to execute the motion, though, his ears were suddenly assaulted by English words with a strong French accent that almost made him jump out of his skin.
"Do you really mean what you just said, Isagi Yoich? Or is this merely a tasteless and unsuitable joke?" Vivian asked in what had to sound like pure bewilderment to the other two teens. His normally emotionless eyes were gaping wide and intense, the edges of his retinas chaotic from a strong sense of both disbelief and uncertainty. After all, there was always the chance his earbuds translated Yoichi's native language incorrectly, which could lead to unfortunate moments such as the one he suddenly found himself in.
