First review - I'm currently on chapter 10, and I've been reading this fic all day. The author really knows how to hook me because I am very invested in the plot; it is quite unpredictable. I deliberately chose to read this despite its last update being from a decade ago. It will forever be an unfinished story, and I know I will hate myself for investing my time in this, but so far I really love it, so I can't regret it yet. I enjoy how the perspectives are written—how it really contrasts both the lives of Brendon and Ryan in this AU; their circumstances brought them together, yet they can’t properly get along for that same reason. I do enjoy their chemistry as well, and I am very curious as to how their relationship develops from this point on. Also, I did not know ‘rimming’ was a thing, so thank you for enlightening me with this knowledge because that was, in fact, very sexy.
Second review - chapter 10 was absolutely tragic; it made Ryan's character so much more human and relatable, allowing us to empathize with him. I adore the character development in this fic so much, and it makes my heart sting because, the way these people are written, they are so flawed yet you can't blame them at all; their upbringing has caused inevitable damage to their present, and it explains so much. But the dirty public restroom club sex scene was really hot, especially when Brendon unlocked the door, and Ryan was still on his knees, so he was mistaken as the hustler in this case by security. godddd that was soo satisfyingg
Third review - OH MY FUCKING GODDD WHEN RYAN WAS HAVING A PANIC ATTACK AND ALL HE COULD DO WAS RESORT TO CALLING BRENDON,, oh my goddd im literally going insane because I knew Ryan wanted to confess the lifelong secret he kept, the reason why he’d always take a line before sex, the trauma he's managed to keep for a decade. And he wanted to confess it to Brendon—because he’s the only person he felt a genuine connection with. And Ryan is so incredibly desperate for someone, someone he can trust and believes he can do with Brendon because Brendon is different. He’s genuine and empathetic, he's been there for him, for when Ryan was vulnerable, for when he mildly overdosed. He didn't need to pay him for that, to stay for those hours, he did that for Ryan.

She's also slowly recovering from the impact of the Titan War, which, loathe as she is to admit it, has taken a massive toll on her.
PIPER has a secret. She knows that it's going to get them all killed in horrible, nasty ways. But she can't help but hold her cards close to her chest, when all her life no one has ever believed the dreams she's had, the things she's seen.
LEO... Leo is hurting. There's a small part of him that hopes that he's finally found his family. That he's finally found someplace to call home, some place he can live in, and not just exist. But then he realises he's still different, still might not be normal, and that's something he just can't fix with his tools.
