When Amber’s cybersecurity database is destroyed by android rebels, a list of nine stolen names becomes her only clue. Desperate to solve the case under the radar, she decides to call an old family friend: Lieutenant Hank Anderson.
An overly pedantic android prototype was definitely not what she expected to see looking up from her chaotic desk. But what starts as an undercover investigation slowly turns into witty banter, hidden glances, and unexpected connections.
