Summary
A year and a half after the New York Invasion, Loki shows up at the tower with Thor with their mouth sewn shut. Tony feels compelled to welcome them into his home despite his apprehension, and discovers over time that they're not so bad. In fact, they seem to get along decently well. However, Tony's persistent struggle with PTSD and alcoholism makes connecting with the ones he cares for difficult.
As time goes on and the two grow closer, will they begin to fall in love or will Tony's penchant for tearing himself apart sabotage all of his relationships?

The forced conversational tone, the way Loki eyes him suspiciously like he’s just going to call the cavalry on him and be done with it, which is honestly what Tony should be doing right now. Six months ago Loki Odinson broke out of SHIELD custody at the price of two dead and five injured. Not to mention the property damage that of course Stark Industries covered in full. But something about Loki—maybe the soft pajamas, his messy hair, his bare feet on the cold floor, or the limp he’s trying to hide as he crosses the kitchen to get himself a glass of wine—makes Tony want to figure this out on his own first.

Summary
Tony managed to win the fight in Siberia, leading to the detainment of the rogue Avengers and, much more importantly, Bucky Barnes. In Tony's own words, the Winter Soldier's extensive, international, very politically charged crimes and refusal to turn himself in have landed him permanently in the hot seat. And, of course, Tony has his own feelings about how Bucky should be dealt with.
“You were looking at a very unhappy ending with an undetermined amount of unhappy times in between now and then. Instead, your rights have been signed over to me. I’m your legal guardian and power of attorney. I decide everything that does or doesn’t happen to you from now on."
It sounds like the opening to a villain origin story, but Tony has some interesting ideas on how to best deal with the man who murdered his parents, and it might wind up doing more for Bucky than living on the run with Steve ever could have. Now, that doesn't mean Bucky is going to necessarily like it... but whether Bucky likes it doesn't really matter anymore.
