...Except it's discontinued now.UPDATE: Ethereal Rumors has been canceled due to a near-unanimous vote to do so after two people said they were tired of their characters, our DM put us on hiatus to rewrite the world lore, and our editor consistently kept not putting out episodes either in a timely manner or on any sort of coherent schedule. I was the only person who voted to keep doing it, but I was outvoted 5-1. So, I guess this work IS Ethereal Rumors now. (For legal reasons, it isn't)
The others may have given up on it, but I haven't - the story we wrote together is amazing and deserves to be told properly. "Properly" can mean a lot of things - for me, with the world we made, I guess it means keeping my character's journal. I'll transcribe our sessions from his POV and write the story myself past our point of giving up, since nobody else is going to.

A direct sequel to both Halloween H20 and Halloween 4-6, but heavily retconning movie 6 as well as part of H20 as will become apparent. The story takes place in early september through october of 1999, around a year after H20. It features a largely returning cast, plus at least one new character. Please leave any honest feedback in the comments, I'm always trying to improve.
All chapter titles will be lyrics of songs from the band 'Avatar', specifically their songs 'Child', 'A Secret Door', and 'Scream Until You Wake', each from their 2020 album 'Hunter Gatherer'.

Ororo Munroe finally got everything she's seemingly ever wanted. She got herself a man in Wolverine, a promised child in Furaha, her friends sticking by her side, and as much as she did love her, Emma happily with someone else preventing a chance for her man to go to Jean. However, when trouble hits paradise, Ororo will have to go back to a world she hasn't been around in long enough that it almost feels foreign to her and meet someone who stirs something inside she hasn't felt in a long time.
T'Challa is many things: A king, an emperor, someone who knows everything from the fundamentals of the universe, down to the passage of time itself, but he is also most importantly now, a father. As a father, he ensures that his children, young and old, are well taken care of, and can lead the next generation, but fails at one important thing. He can't teach them romantic love, since he doesn't seem to have itself. The universe itself couldn't find a woman who could keep up with T'Challa, or at least tie him down, which is why when the woman who got away from him comes back, it's a toss-up if they'll be together or crumble into dust.
