Hearing a sudden crash Peter sprinted out.
Nothing was there? Maybe he was imagining things.
He walked to the bin throwing the bags in.
“Urgh”
What the hell, did the bin groan?
Peter leaned over.
A red horn? The Daredevil?
Why was a vigilante in his bin?
Grimacing he dredged out a raggedy and unconscious vigilante from amongst the garbage.
After brushing from him some- eww was that a mold? He was immediately drawn to a nasty gash across his chest. What could have even done that? A sword? Whatever had caused the damage it needed urgent attention.
Patting down Daredevil’s suit he found an old flip phone. This could work, it had a passcode so he couldn’t access any of the contacts but he could call 911. A gravely voice stopped him.
“Please no- no hospitals.”

There’s no emotion in her stare. Her lips are slightly pursed, but only because of her misaligned teeth and the deep scar on her cheek. Otherwise, there’s nothing.
No… not nothing.
The scar itself tells a story that only Jasmine must know. A story that proves there’s more here than just the incident that put her away.
Criminals aren’t born looking the part. Scars don’t appear out of thin air, eyes don’t turn that hard on their own. A face can’t rest that still without practice. Claudia touches her own cheek, fingers drawing over soft skin. She imagines an indent. Her fingertips would stutter over rough edges and stiff tissue. What does a scar feel like? What does it feel like to bear one? Is it a similar feeling to watching your whole life burn away at your fingertips? Does it hurt whenever she looks in the mirror and remembers, everything is over all because of me?'

Mid-2011. Jill Valentine has been cleared by the BSAA to return to daily life, though not to active duty. She is free of Albert Wesker’s control, but not the emotional scars or the unrelenting fear that she had left the world permanently worse off during those years. Much to the concern of her friends, Jill also refuses to talk to anyone about it or venture back out into the world that she believes she helped ruin.
Leon S. Kennedy is a mess. Or an idiot, depending on who you ask. Both, if that person is Claire Redfield. After another major fight with Leon about his drinking “habits”, Claire is worried for both of her friends. Neither of them will talk about their problems. So maybe, she thinks, if they won’t talk to anyone else, they will talk to each other.
It’s a last ditch effort to keep both of her friends from spiralling down to rock bottom, but Claire is determined: maybe she can finally get both of them to realize that there is someone else out there in the world who understands what it’s like to feel like you don’t have a choice. Maybe who they really need is one another to get through it.
