A quick introduction ensues but the teacher leaves to answer a phone call. Finding himself intrigued, Driver stays up to make sure the teacher returns home safe. After that encounter they keep bumping into each other with Driver struggling to not get attached and fall for one of his neighbors. Again.

Shane swallows thickly, and digs out the boxers in question. They’re buried under his other sweaty clothes, but he can smell it the second he’s got them out. It’s not strong, but it’s definitely there with nothing else in the room but stale hotel air. Soft, faintly sweet, floral. Undoubtedly Omega.
“Fuck,” he murmurs.
Honestly, he doesn’t know what his scent is. He immediately masked it with suppressants and scent neutralizers. But it has to be his. Well, duh. Who the fuck else would it be?
With a pit forming in his stomach, he turns them inside out. There, right over the crotch, is a small, wet spot.

Grace and Rocky were doing just fine. They had a routine and things couldn’t be better.
Then a spacecraft appears and challenges everything.Another human, Major Roy McBride, enters the conversation and suddenly the status quo seems to be shifting rather rapidly. Things that were totally working fine before, turns out . . they weren’t and they aren’t. Turns out Rocky and Grace are really bad at communicating actually and this experience is proving that they have a lot of work to do.
Roy doesn’t know how he ended up here. He was supposed to be returning to Earth after completing his mission and seeing his father for the final time. Now he’s arrived at an alien planet and is being thrown into the middle of some dysfunctional interspecies relationship. At least that’s what it looks like. And it gets to a point where somehow he gets tangled up in the mess despite not wanting to be.
The three of them have to navigate this incredible disruption to all of their lives, and maybe finally work through some of the issues they’ve all brushed to the side for later. It’s terrifying and honestly bizarre, but all they can do is try.

among the ships is the Hail Mary, a small research vessel carrying a disgraced xenobiologist. it is perfectly designed for studying new worlds, not at all equipped to survive alone in hostile space.
as the fleet is scattered and the Nebula turns out to be far stranger and more dangerous than their worst fears, it is up to Doctor Ryland Grace to reach out to one of the people living in the Nebula and hopefully, work together to save both their people from what else lurks within the Nebula.

His vision swims, refusing to focus, but he can make out a vaguely human sort of shape, all in red. It’s not the dark, threatening red of the ocean he’d been abandoned in. Instead, it’s overwhelmingly bright, a beacon, a promise of safety.
“You're alive.” Finally, he manages to blink away enough of the blood and general fatigue to recognize a man’s face within the red helmet. In the darkness, Simon can't make out the color of the astronaut's eyes, but they're soft and fixed on him.
In which Simon is rescued after escaping the ruins of his own universe. With help from a clumsy, but persistently kind scientist and an alien he's just glad isn't eel shaped, Simon starts to believe he can finally put the past behind him.
Unfortunately, he's not all that made it through.
