Summary
Naofumi survived the Lute Wave and goes back into hiding, however, he doesn't go back the same. With Raphtalia having confessed her love for him and his perspective of the world changed, he is left with a mixture of feelings that only becomes more complicated when the two peddle their wares while raising a transforming Filolial girl as their daughter; all while trying to stay under the Church's radar.
Meanwhile, Ren continues his own thing while preparing to investigate the Church. Itsuki takes Raphtalia's words to heart and begins his own personal campaign to free Melromarc's slaves from their unjust nobility. And Motoyasu, still trusting his party members despite his doubts, becomes the Lord of Lute Village.
However, in going along their respective paths, the other Heroes realize that; this is nothing like their games at all. Actions have consequences.
Prepare for the wake-up call of a lifetime.
