Summary
On the planet Yurophi, certain people have gifts, otherwise known as "Distortions," tied to their blood type. These "Distorters" are frequently enrolled in the military as child soldiers, trained to lay down their lives to stop enemy nations and the demonic Djall alike.
Daniel Gensai is a gifted Fuser and Defuser, born with the ability to combine matter and take it apart on an atomic level, on top of being a celebrated military commander in Madelina. Daniel's life is forever changed when he is ambushed and his body is destroyed; to survive, he fuses his consciousness with his attacker's body. Taking advantage of this newfound opportunity and eager to cover up a potential scandal, his superiors re-enroll him in Madelina's military in the military as a cadet to stop a potential uprising.
