Pearl sat on a random roof in sector 23, which she wasn't even supposed to patrol, on the verge of passing out from exhaustion. She only snapped back to attention when she heard a familiar voice behind her.
“Didn't expect to see you tonight, Crescent,” said the voice from behind her.
Pearl turned around to see a face half covered with a mask with teeth painted on. The person was wearing a white tank top and purple baggy pants, contrasting bright orange hair done in two braids.
“Amethyst,” Pearl mumbled, grumpy because the villain showed up and she actually had to do something “What do you want.”

Pearls a hero, who works for the night corps to deal with the bigger villains.
But once she realizes who the night corps really are, and that someone close to her might not be who they seem, she starts to question everything shes known.

Hailing a taxi to the city center, Grian checks the letter in his chest pocket. "Dearest friend, I'd be delighted if we could all meet up and discuss. It's been three years since I came into the scene, and I think a conversation regarding territories is in order. Please come to Lava Lakes Inn in the city center, 9 o'clock on the 16th -Big G." -

Hi first Life Series related fic, kinda nervous
Past Life ended with an indefinite hiatus, the Watchers aren’t very pleased with that. Despite what some may have believed, the Games were always just that, games. Something Grian made as an experiment with a group of friends that just happened to expand beyond the first game. The Watchers never had any control in what happened, Grian was too protective of his players for Them to do anything more than watch.
Now that the drama, roleplaying, and chaos that had been the Watchers best form of entertainment was gone, They’ve grown oh so very bored. So, since they can’t just force the Lifers to create more “seasons” They’ll just find new members. Players that look similar enough to the Lifers that They would barely be able to tell the difference. If only They based who They took on more than just looks I guess.
Just a warning, idk Watcher lore and I do not care enough to attempt to watch Evo to learn so I’m making my own based off stuff I just happen to see on like TikTok or whatever as well as just making up stuff on my own.
