Summary
This began as a one shot based on a tumblr post but I had so much interest in continuing, I decided to go for it in 2022
Only the first chapter is from 2020, when originally posted.
For the purposes of this fic, while the part where Spock accused Jim of cheating did happen, the distress signal from Vulcan did not, and there is no destruction of Vulcan or murder of Spock's mother here.
Jim arrives on the Enterprise for the first time as a crew member and clasps Spock in greeting, without thinking, and Spock responds that they are bonded.

One little problem.
It’s a societal norm on this planet for the nobles to use their servants for their own sexual satisfaction.

Without prompting, Spock receives the same jumbled data from Uhura. Pike looks at him, and he gets to work analyzing, ignoring how Sarek studies his profile. In under a minute, Spock pinpoints the ship’s location. “Fifty kilometers east of Rigel X.”
His stomach grows queasy. That’s where a very specific ship is exploring. He taps away on his console, searching for more information on the vessel.
When his worst fears are confirmed in red letters, Spock can’t help the “no” that slips from his mouth.
“Spock?” Pike prompts, a spot of panic in his tone.
Spock’s heart thunders in his ears. He pushes the involuntary reaction aside and replies, “it is the USS Farragut, sir.”
