It seemed like a perfectly reasonable solution at the time: find an uncorrupted bloodline, pick a candidate who might actually survive long enough to matter, and secure the Tri-ni-sette. In hindsight, it was pure wishful thinking. Kawahira should have known better than to expect anything to go as he planned when dealing with the Sky Arcobaleno.

Summary
In a world where the Arcobaleno curse does not turn those cursed into physical toddlers but does stop them from aging, Skull and his fellow Arcobaleno slowly grew closer instead of splitting apart after the Fated Day. However, the curse was stronger, unwilling to be broken while in effect. After finding an alternative to the curse, they were to be the last generation. They had a good run, truly. But eventually the curse consumed the last of their flames, killing them one by one. Skull was the last one left, with the exception of Yuni, and when his flames finally ran out, the last thing he expected was to open his eyes to see a hospital room.

Pretty green eyes crinkling in delight as rosy lips wrapped around the small spoon, pink tongue licking raspberry glaze.
She was breathtakingly beautiful with flaming red hair, enthralling green eyes, and unusual pale scarring that stretched across her brow. Her scarring shining silver in the sunlight, ethereal and magical. She reminded him of the stories his Baba used to tell of the vila—charming fae-like spirits that danced in the clouds and sang in the sky.
Her name was Harry and she was absolutely enchanting.

Kawahira has a problem. A kid just told him that his grand plan is doomed to fail and seemed to know what he was talking about (stares pointedly at Byakuran). However, there is a solution in a few easy steps:
1. Kidnap a child right after birth (Byakuran is determined to give Tsuna some more help this time around)
2. Leave said child with one of eight families for a year to raise
3. Return child to birth mother for a month
4. Repeat until all eight families, or, rather, parents have had a turn
5. Place the Arcobaleno Curse
