They embark on a new life, one that is kind, gentle and includes Lestat on a world tour. Despite Lestat's forgiveness and their recent happiness, Louis finds himself haunted by feelings of guilt and anger. Rather than repeat mistakes of the past, Louis decides to confront his emotions and does something completely crazy: he asks for help. When our two favorite vampires travel to an isolated retreat with their lovely, patient therapist, they are stalked by a family of mysterious vampires who are unaware of their shocking connection to Lestat. Then Akasha shows up. Expect cliffhangers, cults, mercenaries, plot twists, kidnappings, tearful confessions, violent confrontations (not Loustat) smut (yes Loustat) and ... Armand, being Armand.

Louis chuckled to himself. He knew Lestat was desperate after a performance. He was a god on stage, of course he wanted to fuck. And it didn’t help that Louis knew just what buttons to turn him on more.
The younger vampire started to hum a tune. One of the songs that Lestat himself had sang just an hour and half before. The smirk growing as he let the song come to him.
“Where’d you get your fancy flowers? I’ve been wastin’ time. Sittin’ here for hours countin’ down my fucked up crimes.” Louis sang as he stalked towards Lestat. Who was shaking, he could hear him.
A glimpse of blond hair was all he needed to tackle Lestat. He grabbed his pretty lover easily and took his hands in his own, throwing them above his head.

“Oh, va te faire foutre,” Lestat snaps at him. He leans against the vanity once more, hiding his eyes with his hand. He’s biting his lip, Louis can see, to stop himself from wailing more. He sees his throat working, once, twice, as if he’s trying to swallow all of his tears, all of his words. But he can’t stop his weeping, it seems, because red droplets keep falling over his cheeks, his mouth, his chin. He takes a shuddering breath and drops his eyes, looking at Louis, devastated.
He opens his mouth, but Louis shakes his head. “No, no. I can’t do this with you anymore.” He thinks about two years ago, about finding him in the shack, the hurricane around them, how happy he’d felt when he saw him again, how he felt his soul was finally complete after decades. “This was a fucking mistake. You’re right, I don’t understand, I can’t fucking understand what argument you have for this.”
Lestat looks panicked now, his weeping forgotten. When he tries to get closer, Louis raises a hand, stopping him as he walks back.
“You are— you are going to leave me?” Lestat says, his lips barely moving.

Lestat begins to crawl towards him on the bed and Christ if that isn’t the penultimate image of seduction in and of itself. Lestat, clad in white stockings, his calves sliding against the bed as he crawls on hands and knees. The short wedding dress poofs around him, and yet Louis can still see the sway of his hips. His veil now rests on the back of his hair flowing outward, giving him a sort of halo in the dim lighting of the hotel room. Lipstick already smeared and blood stains down both their fronts. Gloved fingers reach towards Louis’ waist coat, popping the buttons as Louis focusses on his suit pants. Louis' clothing is falling to the floor piece by piece as Lestat runs gloved fingers over chest and sits up on his knees so as to run his hands up Louis’ biceps.
OR
Louis and Lestat have a Vegas wedding, complete with Elvis impersonator. They laugh, they cry, they make love, they have hard discussions.
