"Careful not to stain that righteous lab coat of yours, Doc," a raspy, lazy voice suddenly cut through the silence. Mundy, strolling casually over to the coffee pot, watched with an openly filthy interest as Fritz pulled the glass bottle from his lips.
"Well, look at that, you like it straight from the bottle," Sniper smirked carnally, fully aware that the entire room was listening now. "Swallowing with such impressive enthusiasm… Who would’ve thought our touch-me-not Nun could be so greedy? And not a single drop spilled. Truly spectacular professional habit."
Scout choked on his cereal, breaking off mid-word into a violent fit of coughing. For the first time all morning, Spy tore his eyes away from the newspaper, raising an eyebrow with genuine interest. The perennially reclusive hunter, with his obvious socialization issues, was turning out to be quite the sociopathic provocateur. Delivering a line that brazen, practically dripping with double entendres, aimed directly at their "saintly" doctor so casually and lazily was on the verge of pure madness. -

Every piece of machinery from the respawn machine to the Engineers' teleporters went haywire, causing the day's fight to capture the intelligence at Landfall to screech to a halt. The phones and intercoms were shot too, and they were left stranded with the nearest civilization several miles away. It only got worse when strange noises and BLU Scout yammering about seeing "a gray monster" started as night fell. Unnatural things happen to their world and uncanny faces emerge from the shadows, some less pleasant than others.
