Mito, Narumi, and Naruto were triplets born on the night of the Nine-Tails’ attack. In a desperate bid to save the village, Minato sealed one half of the Nine-Tails into Mito and the other half into Narumi. Sometime later, Jiraiya returned with a prophecy delivered by the Elder Toads—one that spoke of great calamity and salvation. Believing the prophecy referred to their children, Minato and Kushina made a painful decision.
Not heeding to Hiruzen’s warnings, they chose to leave the village for several years, taking Mito and Narumi with them to train. Their hope was that the twins would learn to access the Nine-Tails’ chakra and grow strong enough to one day save the world. Consider this a pseudo-walkthrough of one interpretation of the story of New Vegas (and light[?] romance, with a focus on companionship), with a few questions to stir the pot and make it all possible:
What if being a Courier was more of a side-gig, and what if she uncovered more of what happened in The Big MT facility?
What if, much like the Enclave, the Brains there had experimented with intelligence augmentation for their war beasts?
