Despite the disaster inside her, Luz forced a smile onto her face—her mother deserved at least a smile, after all Luz had done. “Hey, Mom…” She forced out. Tears were trying to surge from her eyes, her voice turned shaky with the threat of sobs.

So, naturally, my writer brain decided to make it devastating. So after All Hell Breaks Loose – Part One (2x21), Dean finds himself watching those forgotten memories one by one while sitting beside Sam's body.
