Summary
This is my rewrite of "My Late Lamented Friend and Partner."
In this 1960s London , private eyes Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk are gathering information to allow Fay Sorrensen to divorce her cheating husband, but he murders her and makes it look like a heart attack. Marty is suspicious but is killed by a hit-and-run driver before he can prove that Sorrensen is a murderer.
However, this version introduces an original twist and an OC addition: seven-year-old Maxie, Marty and Jeannie's son. Days after his birthday, Maxie discovers a mysterious final present left by his father, hidden beneath his bed—an artifact known as the spectral pendant.
As it awakens with an unearthly green glow, Maxie inherits strange, Danny Phantom-esque ghostly powers.Meanwhile, Marty’s ghost gets Jeff to meet him at his cemetery grave so they can expose the killer together. Bound by the dawn, Marty must wander the Earth as a ghost for the next century—visible only to Jeff, and to a young son whose newfound supernatural abilities are about to change everything.

Joanne already felt out of place. Something always drew her away, like a cry for help. She felt particularly drawn to the small island of Jorvik — for inexplicable reasons, since she had never actually visited Jorvik. Only her mother had grown up there, and that was about it.
Joanne knew a few things about the island, though.
The island was located in the middle of the sea between England, Norway, and Iceland. Furthermore, the islanders were very fond of horses, as they played a significant role in their culture. There was also a rich variety of animals and plants there.
That was all, however. She only knew the things that could be found with a quick Google search. So, one day, the girl decided to go to the island herself.
Joanne took a job as a sable hand at the Moorland Stables. It was a small but excellent stable, run by a kind gentleman named Thomas Moorland and his son, Justin Moorland.
As a matter of course, she arrived on the island. Joanne didn't yet know that a magical adventure awaited her.

Shelly is a forgotten goddess going under the guise of being a curious wanderer. After narrowly escaping an encounter by one of Dandy's knights, she finds herself in an abandoned garden. In the middle of it; a robot.
Vee finds out she was replaced by her creator. Now with a newfound hatred for the gods, she follows Shelly in her travels in hopes she'll find a new task. However, her companion seems rather secretive despite being so chatty.
