Summary
Crimenos Week Day 2: Soulmate
Several things have changed since Crick was gravely injured in Stormhail.
Most of them were obvious: Crick was no longer a Sanctum Knight, having faked his death, and now traveled with Temenos and his friends to stop Kaldena.
Some things were more subtle: Temenos’s magic seems to be weaker than before.
And some things were only for Crick to know: Ever since Temenos healed him, there has been a strange but comforting warmth in his chest.

Crimenos Week Day 1: Snow/Flowers
Temenos squatted down, placing a bouquet of flowers on the snow covering the grave, then straightened back up with his hands folded in front of him. “Oh, little lamb,” he said, his eyes closed as if in prayer. “The gods can be so cruel, sometimes. A noble flame like yours doesn’t ever deserve to be snuffed out.”
The man standing behind Temenos shifted uneasily from foot to foot as Temenos’s words before he finally spoke up in clear irritation. “Must you talk that way, Temenos? I’m right here.”
